trance studio equipment

have any of you guys come across websites were it lists what synths and programs the big names use to make their tracks on?

a lot of the big names have that information on their own websites... e.g:

the john 00 fleming website has a list of all the gear he uses, might pay to just look up evry major producer you know and your bound to get some info.

Take a look at this site...no info, but lotsa pics, and links to the producers' sites as well which may have more info. You should be able to see what theive got in view from these anyway...

Also, theres no reason why Reason shouldn't suffice - if you can use it to its full extent.

i was told that a producers forum was on the cards for biggie but i'm yet to see it, IT WOULD BE VERY GOOD TO SEE!!!!

There used to be a producers forum on the old boards. Anyone know if this could make a comeback?

sampling a bees nest makes for a good buildup I hear ;P

Reason is nice, but your a little limited using it all on it's lonesome (great sounds, pretty crap effects/sequencing tools).

Native Instruments have heaps of cool software gear that in my opinion is just as good as most analogue stuff and way more versatile (U just need a beefy pc/mac to take advantage of them). I've been using Reaktor and lately the new FM 7 which is awesome.

And yeah, where the hell is the producer forum?!

A producers forum would be very helpful
