Hey Everyone...

I have just moved to the Tron, am interested in getting some good quality underground parties off the ground here..

I have been in NZ since late last year when i arrived to play at Visionz Festival in Golden Bay over New Years. I have promoting parties in the South Island since then under the Name Otherworld. I have been playing for various good quality crews around NZ like Full Om,Alien Nation,Cirqular Studios,Heloid ect...

I have been involved in the trance scene in the Uk for some years and been doing various stuff in many countries and have lots of experience in putting a quality night. It would be good to hear from some people up here in getting it together, and getting something off the ground here... The trance scene and psychedelic music scene worldwide is as popular now as it has ever been with more artists and quality production than ever before. The music is of some of the most amazing and entrancing styles that has ever been seen, and everywhere that i have played or helped out here in NZ, the crowd has become really attacted to this style regardless of previous music tastes ect..

All the resources are availible and it just takes a little effort, but i know it will work because the music is so good...

So it would be good to hear from some of the local promoters and venues, and work together to make something really special happen..

Everything thats going on here at the moment all seems really positive, so it just will take some organisation..

Hey Grover & Co...

I thinkfrom my initial taste of life in the H, that the time is good to get the crowd really into some quality underground trance. Theres certainly room for it, and if we can work together to get it happening, we will just open up another door for us all to explore through, and enjoy.

I have been to gigs all over the world quite literally, and the global scene is without question in the best shape now that it has ever been in.. And the music so strong, powerful and emotive that once people listen to some of the new wave of music, then the prospect of not being able to go out and hear it is a bleak one for everyone. From travelling round NZ for parties and festivals since last Dec, it is clear that the scene has really kicked off across the country, and it's only natural that we show Hamilton the same action and quality nights out that are being had. Also having the scene now working nationaly, it means we can call on friends from other parts to come and share their vibe and music with us. And vice versa.

I love going to play in the south Island, or Wellington or Wherever, but it will be great to be playing here and doing promotions so everyone here can see what the fuss is about. And fuss there will be!

I want this to be about a complete experience for people.. Not just an DJ spining good tunes, but a good venue, full of good people, encapsulated by stunning decor and all the things that turn an ok party into an unforgettable party...

It wont be hard, its just education...

Be good to hear from everyone, and perhap get together with some of you guys...

Its no secret,
The only problems we have are in comunication, community(division in the underground)
and Media promotion.
In my experience Street level advertizing and word of mouth is still the best way in H.(the only way in H)

I think everybody behind the scenes in Hammy need to step up the game.

Step it up.

Mad And fuck the Rock suking Satans cock for a little bit of props!

"feed them some more grunge music while they are depressed in thier jobs"."Its like a soundtrack to thier pathetic lives.... Mad mur hor hoar....
Drink my alchoholic urine and brainwash yourselves on the new form of dictator ship. THE MEDIA> Mad hur hoar hoooar......Alchohol and Rock music.
Now I am in control of your town and your Virgins Mad hoarr!!!!!!!!!!!!
and all of Laffs fat chicks
.How long should I wait before I blame the P epidemic on DJs and dance music........that will be the scapegoat and make me look like the safe bet Mad

Its an Evil cycle and it needs to be broken before we can step forth.

Let the people feel free to choose,Hamilton is extremely over populated with "POP" and "ROCK" radio stations.the most per capita in NZ.

If you can walk you can dance,If you can talk you can sing.

:mental note// All of the above makes perfect sense as I type//

fuck yeah HSD for to long the H has been under the influence of the rock/pop monopoly and have for to long blamed everything on the so called dance scene and all the "drugs" they do that crazy "doof, doof music" it will never take well guess what it has and its going strong in my eyes and its about choice if we give everyone a choice of what they can listen to PEOPLE CAN MAKE UP THEYRE OWN MINDS about weather they like it or not
a funny thing but the psy scene is really getting off on tracks with some the best guitar riffs in them eh fuck me tracks with sepultura riffs in them and that sort of real hard metal sound its fucken sik twisted psychadelia but thats not to say that its all like that there is such diversity in the psy scene that you have got so much choice now and thats the real gem now because 5/6 years ago there wasnt that choice and thats probably why it didnt take here and died a quick death
GROVER: i to like the other forms of trance as well its all good in my eyes when i was living in sydney the trance scene there was fucken off the hook production wise with the local acts in my eyes consistently blowing some of the overseas acts right out of the water and making them look pretty lame not to say that they couldnt do the same on theyre home turf as well its just that europe and this side of the world have different tastes england/ireland at the moment are more into the more mainstream trance that everyone can listen to but they still have a thriving psychadelic and hard as nuts scene as well
phew what a bable on Mr. Green
i just think that what lee/illusion and laff/HSD and myself are saying is that we need to open up h-town to more of whats out there give people a choice !!!!
ITS TIME TO EDUCATE AND APPRECIATE what we have and thats the freedom to choose and H-town aint lettin us by being to narrow minded about the whole isssue (except you peeps that are on this site and the people who frequent the dance scene and support it ).......
HSD when are you free next or better yet when are you down here next me and lee want to show you some of the psy thats out there right now its really explosive stuff give me a call on (07) 8493113 and we will arrange something lee did a mix cd the other night as well and its farken killer man
Moon that goes out to the muthafarkers who for to long have blamed everything on our scene and are to narrowminded to think otherwise ...... Mr. Green Mr. Green Mad Confused
