Trademe help

Ok so, I bought some vinyl off a person in West Auck, a couple of months ago now, paid the money, but.......no vinyl has turned up. Ive tried contacting her several times, and trademe. She only responded to one email telling me "in the midst of organizing my grandmothers funeral, it slipped my mind". So I thought, ok that sucks for you, but its been over a month, where is my stuff? She seemed to have managed to place more listings on trademe, so I spammed her listings...still no contact.
Trademe have not been very helpful due to the amount only being fifty dollars. But Im fucked off!!
Any ideas on what I can do?

Well they don't really have a choice right? That's their job heh. You've obviously got proof that you sent her money, so she owes you the product. Seems pretty open and shut..

Yep, and whilst it's likely not that 'serious' on their radar, a friendly call from the Police to Trademe (and hopefully, by proxy to the user) would certainly speed up the process, and would be fairly easy for the police to execute I would have thought. I bet you it happens a lot.

I'm not suggesting the police wouldn't care, it just seems such a trivial amount to bother them with - chances are they'd point your towards small claims court or the link pech just dropped
