Seems wierd to get rid of someone when you don't have a replacement. If Arian Newey etc was on his way to Toyota I could understand.. but this is very early in the season to drop someone. Race 3!!! And they've already had a podium too.

I don't disagree with you.
I have never had a negative opinion of him really, just know plenty of people that do.
I rated him at Renault even if the car was reportedly twitchy, and at Toyota he does seem to have pulled them up the grid quite a long way. I guess the best way to judge his influence will be Toyota's results next year.
Renault improved further without him, will Toyota move down?
