Time sheets...

Who has to fill time sheets out for their jobs? I do and it’s the most creative thing I do all week!

Its weird, its like my managers don’t care what is on it, as long as it is filled in!

time sheet... never had one i get paid a set amount each week and it can only increase from there not decrease ;P hehe

We have an electronic thing for keeping track of what we work on, but its purpose is for billing clients.

Yeah, I get paid the same amount each f/night, but we still have to fill them in so that our managers can say to their managers what we have been up to!

Eventually we will move to the task thing in Outlook when it gets properly linked to MS Project, so we too will be able to complete these electronically...

I just got handed a timesheet to fill out yesterday... I was just like: WTF??
This week I have done less hours, but in the past I have done lots of unpaid (unclaimed) overtime (and they know that). And, not just that, but I shouldn't be penalised for getting more work done in less time so I I have less to do at the end of the day, should I?
So I just ignored it, cos I can... : )

Timesheets = a close second to the bane of my life, beaten only by: "meeting budget on the timesheets".

I'm like Harvey - have to fill out a timesheet so clients can be charged. Have a budget of chargeable time to do each week...

A lot of the time I have to be creative as well!!!

Hell yeah i have to fill them out, its annoying sometimes but its a good measure of how much work you actually do

Glory, do you feel real guilty charging work to clients while you're surfing around biggie?? hahaha

I just get my shitty little dot matrix printout, that I have to work for 5 minutes to break into, and try and decipher how much I got paid because it tells me all sorts of other shit but neglects to remember the most important part.

yep, i gotta fill out a little electronic number, that stores all our times in a database so our manager can have a wee looksee.
Luckily, as long as I bill the fuck outta our clients he doesn't give a damn what I do all day.
