Razz @ Ruthie!

Teddee - might catch up with ya there and impart some elitist wanker styles for u. Razz
[quote]
graphite - i may have to buy you a cocktail since jbb can't make it Wink i have checked out quite a few aussy websites, but it appears tickets aren't on sale yet.

ruthieq - armin at home was so much fun earlier this year, couldn't help but return for tiesto Smile

Yeah, I have seen some ads for it in 3D world. will let you know if I hear of any details.

Choco-vanilla martinis it is! Very Happy
[quote]
thank you Smile

i will bribe you with a couple of choco-martini's for fear of being handed an original graphite sign Pink Winky
[quote]

Heard that terrace members should get a ticket each. in which case - I'll be there with bells on Very Happy
[quote]
forgive my ignorance, but terrace members?? eh?
[quote]
The upstairs bar @Home.
Members get admission on to the blacony and free entrance for themselves & friends Mr. Green

It is excellent Smile
[quote]
2 extras in summer
4 in winter (usually $25 a person)

Special events = unlikely.

Tis very excellent!

www.homesydney.com/shop

I wonder how packed the place will be?
[quote]
damnit i want to be a terrace member Mad

Laughing why do i remind myself of violet from charlie and the chocolate factory?!

so how does one become a terrace member?
[quote]
Same as you get any membership at any club.

being Roooly rooooly cool.

or knowing someone that knows someone, or being in the right place at the right time. (me.)

Or they're advertising them in 3D world. Something like "sorry, but the memberships for the terrace are nearly full up, but there are a limited number still available for sale @ $200."

got $200 teddee? I can sort ya out Razz
[quote]
Shocked 2hundy? do australians have nothing better to spend their money on?

i think a wander outside to sit down by the water will suffice, should i feel the need to drag myself away from my favourite dj. tiesto has been the only dj i have wanted to see in the past 3 years ... it's going to be hard keeping the expectations down.

i'll have to remember some gum for the 'rooly rooly cool' people - just to complete the mental picture
[quote]
Yeah, seems stupid at first, but think about it - you + 4 in during winter = $25 a head. = 2 nights out and its paid for.

but I didn't pay, neither did Wife or Nick Millar.

And bring minty flavoured gum. I hate that sweet stuff Razz
[quote]
or is it cause you trained their staff how to mix drinks properly?
[quote]
nah, terrace actually had some skilled tenders behind the bar last time I was there. Unlike homebar that time. Rolling Eyes fucking imbiciles.

Another great incentive to be a member - I seem to get a free drink every time, just for turning up Smile
[quote]
well graphite, if you descend from the terrace to dance centre front with Tijs, i may see you there. failing that you'll have to purchase your own choco-vanilla martinis Very Happy
[quote]
does anyone know of any good hotels? there are so many to choose from.

obviously something close to darling harbour would be fab.

cheers Smile

who is Tij's?

I'll be front and centre, trust me on that. I'm just gonna enjoy going up to the terrace main bar for a nicer place to enjoy said chocvanilla martinis.

Do a google search for the hotels. Sniper stayed at Ibis. Nothing too flashy, but probably good value.
[quote]
Tijs Verwest = tiesto Wink
[quote]
ah. guess i'm not that much of a trainspotter then Razz

hehehe
[quote]
WTF? they reckon it might be $45 for terrace members.

I'm gonna see what I can do Wink
[quote]
$45 is nothing

considering sublime is $25 just on a regular night!

pfffffffffft...... give a boy a vip card and he thinks the sun shines out his arse Froggy
[quote]
must be an eclipse then! Moon
[quote]
I just got an email from the sublime @home mailing list

and they are giving me both fri night sublime (with Ed Real) and sat night tiesto for $48, they are basically begging me to buy the ticket!

wait.. im not a member Crying or Very sad damm it

.... I spose itl be a all-the-biggies-in-syd-go night also??
[quote]
Maybe not skip. I know a couple that are unlikely. I'm undecided but seriously considering it. Smile see how we go. Smile
[quote]
i'm so excited Smile 8 more sleeps to go!!
[quote]
Think i'm gonna have a work to the relevant people this weekend. see what I can organise. so so so tempted for this Smile
