Can i get some thoughts on the Tidy Trax party this weekend ? I know i should post in the house section, but i want to know what type of house it is and i dont want some house nerd to tell me it's "upbeat prog house" or "nu skool funk" or sum bullshit. What i want to know is whether its funky disco style house (robodisco - good) or kak prog house (Austin Leeds - bad)
Ignore what these idiots have said. So many dickheads around get so into thier own style of music they become anti anything else and refuse to see the musical merit in it.
I don't like hardhouse much but respect people into it.
Hardhouse is not house. Its like trance a bit except more hardout and fast and always has at least buildup and climax. Go into a music shop and ask a knowledgable assistant to show you a CD to listen to. I'd suggest for a wide range of the stuff "cranking hardhouse" from steve hill (ex-pat by the way).
