*yawn*

Thats a very very weak line up. Jon yu have a knack of always proclaiming that ya gig is gonna sell out faster than an Afganie chasing rice.
[quote]
A weak line up? Jesus I've been waiting years for someone to bring Pete Wardman over.. the man is not weak!

Personally, I'm of the opinion that hes one of the best Internation DJ's in his class to grace a OGA gig yet.
[quote]
as long as he turns up.. hehehehehehehehe Razz
[quote]
Then go to something else!

I'll be there for sure! The lineup sounds great to me Smile

Smile
[quote]
Yay.... can't wait for Slinky NY's.... lets just hope that there will be some air-conditioning, esp. since it's gonna be summer... YAY FOR SUMMER!!! Smile
[quote]
I reckon $50 is a fair price.Any more though and I think it would be a ripoff.Pete Wardman is cool and the locals are good but its not exactly the lineup from hell is it?
[quote]
'Now that gets my heart pumping'
[quote]
What is the line-up from hell?
[quote]
Weak in terms of what else is on round the counrty is what i meant. But then again most of yu all are paying for the Slinky banner rather than the acts.
[quote]
It sounds fantastic & at the Town Hall - all good :o)

[quote]
sounds good too me. It is New Years and we should be happy at what we get Razz

I still cant believe The Grathering are having Digweed grace them. Its so wicked that DJ Mag's No.1 DJ is proberly been offered mint $ to play somewhere in Euro but choose New Zealand Smile
[quote]
Rider, I think if people were paying for the Slinky banner, ticket sales may not be so shit hot this time round after the last Sliky episode....

People on this board are a little more educated than you think.
[quote]
Doubt it Baynesy. People on this board are a minority. Its the general joe blow who is buying these tix for NY. Wake up and smell the coffee son.
[quote]
I dont think the biggie community is a minority. But maybe the regular posters are.....
[quote]
doesnt sound bad at all. fingers crossed he doesnt decide to sell more tickets. =) i will be there with my lemon =) and we will make it an awesome nite no matter what. we;ll just make do with what we have,

wow 2002 is just over a month away, scarey shit!
[quote]
Rider, tell me something I dont know....
I assume you have something better planned for new years?
[quote]
Absolutely, i sure do. And it doesnt invlove lining JD's pocket either. Looking like either Wgtn at S9 or ian pooley/nathan haines in ak. Not sure yet.
[quote]
Dam fool, Baynesy (wack name), I ain't going to no slinky bullshit, I'm going to get me some skunky styles and bring on the N.Y the natural way.. Bloody cheesy pill popping fools, I can't wait for all of you "hard" house muppets to realise you are listening to tomorrow's rubbish, today.
[quote]
Sounds like a good plan there Rider...I'm from Wellington and Studio & Sub 9 will be the places to be at New years down here...

Good on ya Mr.Bad Dog you got it in one!
Unfortunatly no - your assumptions are a little off target. I wont be going to Slinky in AK. Been there done that with the previous one...
I'm off to give the Gathering a crack for my 1st time and catch John Digweed & Austin Leeds in action...
[quote]
hahaha baynsey, think bad dogs onto it huh!!!
[quote]
Looking forward to Slinky NYE...
Have a big set planned out for all those out there, who love
their epic Trance and their bouncy hardhouse... The track

Wink

Peace.

I'm pretty certain Slinky's where I'm gonna be!
Good line up and to be honest I have not once been disappointed with an OGA event. (Even the last Slinky - Dare I mention it)
[quote]
Well, it sounds all good, I'm definitely going. Can't decide if I'm going to work there or party.

But since it's new years, I'm seriously considering going hard, and partying for a change. No responsibility, just going off all night. Definitely something to look forward to. Haven't been to the town hall before either, I've heard it's a great venue. Something a bit different will be good. See you all there!!
[quote]
Kyla - I loved the last Slinky too! Smile
[quote]
I had a great night and made the most of it.
And Hazes set was WICKED!!!

[quote]
I lost about 4 hours of my life at Slinky. Pretty sure I enjoyed it. Apart from the obvious.

But ya know, the winners at any gig are those who manage to have a great time in spite of the bad sides.
