Well it's official Tidy Trax Welly has been cancelled.

Maybe the message has finally got through 'Dont hold so many events on one night!'

Maybe the message is also something along the lines of "Don't hold the debut events of something not well-know in a huge venue like Cumberland House"?

I think they would have had a little more success had they held it at a venue such as Phoenix or Sub & Studio 9...... - but obviously there's something on at those venues this weekend.

Doesnt this teach u guys a lesson, Dont but tickets for events that one gren apple are putting on, They are fucking useless money hungry wankers...

You mean it teaches the 3 people out there who brought tickets to the event.

This shows you how hard it is to put on a party in Wellington compared to Auckland. It takes more than a big name like Tidy Trax and a few A0 posters to get Wellington people excited.

It's takin Fevah a while to build up the numbers attending their parties before they were able to tackle the huge venue that is Cumberland House (Star Light Ballroom)And One Green Apple expected to fill it up first time out, i think not.

Yea well,It was only a hard house event anyway...

I don't think it's exactly Wgtn's fault as a place. I jsut think it's really stupid to put on an event trying to fill up a venue like that when there is also Hullabaloo, ALSO trying to fill up a huge venue on the same night. And with gateCrasher the next week, as well as Fevah, quite a few people I know are trying to save $$ this week. Bad timing especially if you ask me.

One rumour that is true is that the Wellington show with Paul Glazby and Lee Haslam has been cancelled, Paul Glasby & Lee Haslam are still appearing in Auckland. For sure voice having so many big events in such a small space of time in Wellington doesn't work. You may be able to get away with it in Auckland but Wellington just isn't that big.
And its good to see such enthusiasm for a local event like Hullabaloo, go the local scene.
