Please tell me that the rumour about the escalators being shut off are not true...You can't have an event at ellerslie without the escalators...thats just cruel !

yeah a bit of a shame...a friend told me that it was the bottom floor only and I haven't heard anything saying otherwise

it's not as fun when you don't have places to explore!

If they do move it to Staircase then it will be very last minute I'm sure. It'll all depend on ticket sales and it's way too early to tell at this stage. EVERYONE leaves it till the absolute last minute to buy their tickets, dunno why but we all do it! hehe I doubt a decision like that would be made 8 days before the event.

Man if they moved it to the Stiarcase I would be very gutted. Rumoours of change this early are quite unsettleing especially die to the havoc with Sliniky. Me be stoked to be a Gatecrasher.

this will be another Ellerslie event to be moved to the Staircase if it does get moved... MOS that was the reason i didnt go to MOS, cos they changed the venue

Ellerslie is a BIG venue to fill....they'd be brave to try and do a venue that size if their ticket sales are small, especially with the amount of Gatecrasher tickets I heard had been sold...

but you're right, 8 days is a long way out from an event to downsize it that much .....

Would prefer it to be at the Staircase rather than ellerslie. Ellerslie will be too big to fill up and that way I mite also be able to get a GC ticket and catch Tall Paul aand Armin as well!

Oh my god people! Who cares! It's LISA LASHES!! To the people that are going to Tidy Trax it won't be a problem!! I have no doubt in my mind that there will be enough ticket sales for it to be at Ellerslie and if not - then no drama!

Yeah exactl;y - we are going for the DJ/s which ever event we choose. The venue should not make to much of a difference cos its the music ur there for. Its not like ur going to an open home.

yes yes we do go for the music and the DJ's(I mean Lisa Lashes hehe of course) But when you're not dancing or staring you wanna explore and meet people...and Ellerslie is way boring if it's only the first floor

Hmmm Im joining this one late, It will NOT be moved to the Staircase so no worries there, It is a one roomer [well two rooms actually Main room and a chill out] The Escalators will not be running but if you are that desperate Farmers and most Westfeild Malls have splendid escalators that you can travel up and down on to your hearts content!

you know it's bad when the promoter has to make a joke out of something that is usually his biggest selling point....

that's my point PhunkyDave - its a bit sad that usually when Ellerslie is used everyone goes on about the escalators more than the music....not exactly the most important thing about a gig in my eyes.

I guess the fact that it is a big talking point says something about the line-ups.....

well....I hate to say it, but hold on to your hats ladies and gentlemen, looks like Tiday Trax in Wellington has been cancelled...

does this mean it is moving to the Kase after all? Or will it even be on???

well from what I hear GATECRASHER is sold out in Wellington and nearly sold out in Auckland, it wouldn't suprise me that they are both cancelled....

I guess cancelling is better than turning up on the night to no-shows though.
