In a constant attempt to be the first to make the most amount of mixes with the least amount of listeners...
here comes another niche genre catch phrase that you can use to impress your mates...
"This Is Tech Dance Volume 2" - Mixed By Nick Collings - November 2008
I would describe this one as an insiders guide into the instability of the Nick Collings mind.
Tech Dance is an "it" word been thrown around but alot of the who's who of hard dance & tech trance right now.
As the music is once again evolving and what was "Tech-Trance" now has alot of changing and weirder elements to it and Hard Dance strays away from the typical "big breakdown, nails bassline" the term "Tech-Dance" is born. It ranges in speed and variety of noises used but the key ingredient is it's lean towards more techno orientated bleeps and blips whilst maintaining the energy.
The Tech Dance formula is being utilised by people like Scott Attril, Ali Wilson, Yoji, Remo-con, Reaky, John O Callaghan, Organ Donors to name but a few..
So here you go....

Volume 2 takes where Volume 1 didin't quite go.. Deep into the harder techno realm. There are very few vocals on this mix or big breakdowns.. it is more about the percussion and the groove.
It starts off with some killer trancier numbers and slowly gets into the creepier side of the tech-dance and techno world. got a bit carried away and had to edit it down from close to 2 hours. 26 tracks that go from 135BPM - 142BPM yet you may think in parts it is alot harder than that!
This mix is also the only place to feature the dub mix of P-Money - Everything (Delegate Meets Nick Collings Harderer Tech Bootleg)
