Every time I visit biggie it sends me to the login page.

Is there any way to login forever so it stops doing that?

Does anyone know how to ask whoever runs the site?

thats a huge failing in Biggie BN1 , much more than is probably appreciated.
It will absolutely kill serious discussion. How many times are you going to write a long in depth post and watch it evaporate as you hit submit? Not many if you're like me.
I shouldnt have to hit CtrlA CtrlC just in case.

i agree. its happened to me to often and even though i copy and paste a lot its easy to forget what site has bugs or not.. when i do bother to hit reply i often end up with that need to log in bug when im already loggen in.. crapola!
either they hate techno here or the interface support people are useless..

It happens on all the forums here - I don't think there's any anti techno agenda at work

yeah, pretty crazy... most people I know don't even bother to read stuff now in case they need to reply to a thread and it crashes... or even just simply login without any hassles

They did it to artificially increase the page view stats by about 20% - so their advertising rates are better.

And Bob people just move on. And there is a lot more competition for peoples time online these days than say 4 or 5 years ago. If anything its an indication of lack of new people coming into the forums as the older ones drop off. From a lack of promotion of the actual forums themselves and because of the way many people act in there. And of course the issue of the bugs.

All of the people that did post a lot and still go out pretty much still do. Which I must say is pretty loyal considering. Including you and others posting in this thread.



When they are finally fixed (which will be like coming out of a never ending nightmare for me) I will promote them around the site and via other means.

With around 50,000 uniques on the site a month (53,000 last month) it shouldn't be too hard to breathe some life back into them over time. I hope not anyway.

At least the bitchiness here is kept to a strict 3 times a year maximum, with at least one group hug resolving requirement after wards

A lot of reading still goes down. Especially from the younger crowd... they are always quoting things to me but they don't post that much or at all.

[not having a go at you here] from my personal observations (which are of course limited) most of those I know who used to post have all but gone from biggie, due mainly to the frustration of the bugs... they still go out and they still have a hell of a lot to say

this sucks IMO as I've made some bloody good friends thanks to this site and would like to continue to
