I love how Kerri Chandler is still #1.

I like the fact that 'House' still got a what looked like your 'classic rock that rocks' cliched mullet, black tee shirt wearing middle aged man.....tapping his foot when I was playing at Beerfest.

Small win.

And I love that Chandler will still play Luther Vandross in the middle of a set and absolutely destroy the dance floor.

Dude. I bet even Prince sits at home listening to Chandler records wondering how he can be that cool.

Yes. Greg and I both played the original of that and the flip 'Bad Boy'. It wasn't even the instrumental at that stage as it was the only version - was a good tune. And then a year later is came out with a vocal (Hot'n'Juicy!!!). Christ that was garbage.

Lots of tunes from that era were like that that... Heller & Farley 'Ultra Flava', Pete Heller 'Big Love' etc. I guess they just had to have a vocal added to have a chance on UK radio.

The worst one I can think of right now is Cosmos 'Take Me With You'... when they added the Roachford vocal - WTF were they thinking? Shocker.

Funnily enough - Ce Ce Peniston 'Finally' didn't have most of the vocals originally either. It was very different.

The only place that vocal works is in the
2 beat breakdown before the chorus. I have to agree
the rest of the vocal is pretty damm awful. It's a pity cause the music is really good.

I wish the Box was still open, low ceiling, really dark, you had to squint to see the dj... I had some of the best house moments of my life there!
