in the states, but apparently the motor just fell out - nothing to do with anything

Tragic though, 9am and a plane just falls out of the sky and lands on heaps of houses. Bummer if you were having a lie in. It's going to make people even more weary of flying even if it's not terrorist related.

ohh ok the motor just fell out of the plane, nothing to worry about just a natural cause ppl.
how the fuck does a motor just fall out of the plane?
[quote]
Sabotage, is a definate possibilty because you're right engines don't just fall off planes. Mind you I wonder whether the US government would make public any findings which pointed to terrorism - they may just want to maintain public calm as much as possible.

in the herald.co.nz it said the plane was on fire before the motor fell out, maybe it was a bomb in the motor???

and let the speculation begin!!!

The sadest thing I've read about it so far is in the New York Times and they were interveiwing the relatives and friends of the people on the plane who were all waiting at the Santo Domingo airport (that's where the plane was headed) for their loved ones and watching on the news the footage of the crash. Knowing that there was no other flight on that route, and that there were no survivors, whoever they were waiting for was definately dead. So so sad man, so many people must be grieving again today. There's probably some people in NY who lost people in the WTC who lost someone again today.

ffs i couldnt bear to watch footage of my loved ones...ending...that way.
on the other hand it might help the grieving process - thru visual confirmation of it.
and i see it crashed into a residential area of queens, jesus. 255 on board.

"Bush administration officials said the FBI believed an explosion occurred aboard the jet, and witnesses reported hearing one and seeing an engine fall off. White House spokesman Ari Fleischer said there had been no unusual communications from the plane before the crash." foxnews.com

Apparantley the pilot dumped a heap of fuel before the crash so he was aware of some type of significant mechanical failure. So looks as if it wasn't a terror attack.

But you never know what the propoganda fuelled media are feeding us anyway

but i saying that, if he had time to dump heaps of fuel, why didn't he communicate that something was wrong? So who knows what the story is. Pretty sad though Sad
