Ok i have this problem, ive just moved house and the water at the new house seems to be really "hard"
I think its got quite a high chemical content and its driving my head insane, its so fucking itchy
And my skin has now become extremely dry and quite rough

Over the course of only 7 days

Can anyone recommend something to help me

Unfortunately London’s water is hard and this is not going to change any time soon. If you want soft water you either need to install a water softener or move to a place that already has one already installed. grim

im guessing landlords dont have any obligations to provide soft water in a flat ?

that, in addition to winter - you'll need to get yourself a good body moisturiser.

heh got one, its not fighting it tho Sad its expensive to, its dermalogica...
hmm
i mite just have to shave my head and wash in fresh water Very Happy

Ive seen these things u can attach to your pipes which change the state of the water to get rid of all the limescaling in the pipes
sounds promising, will have to investigate it.

i've always wondered what kind of damage limescale does to your skin/body/teeth. i seem to have aged rather quickly since being over here Sad surely it can't be time! Pink Winky but i'll fall into the same trick my mother did by buying lots of expensive products Laughing

Try Aveda too... dermalogica tested on animals i discovered after buying a lot of it.

The only feasible way to remove lime scale is a through a chemical reaction which precipitates it out. Some 'magnet' bollocks on the pipe can apparently influence and lower the amount which sticks to the inside of household plumping, but remember this has no absolutely effect on what comes out of the tap.

In summary: Get a good moisturiser.
