STATE OF MIND
Hailing from Auckland, New Zealand, State of Mind are the duo of Stu Maxwell and Patrick Hawkins. Beginning their careers in 2004, they released their debut cult hit 12” ‘Sunking’ on Total Science’s CIA label.

Notoriously prolific producers, the State of Mind lads have gone on to release on a broad spectrum of labels since that chance encounter in 2004. Material can be found on the shelves via Total Science's CIA Recordings, Teebee's Subtitles Records, Friction's Shogun Audio, Futurebound’s Viper label, Doc Scott’s 31 Records, Concord Dawn’s Uprising imprint, Bad Company, Obsessions, and more. They have also released a full CD ‘Take Control’ on Uprising Records, and album that garnered them the publicly voted award of ‘Breakthrough Artists 2006’ on the B-Net radio network in NZ.

Yet even this impressive list has not satisfied State of Mind’s creative appetite. In 2007 they launched their own label SOM Music, featuring the talents of Chris Su, Black Sun Empire, Switzerland’s Axiom, Trei, the Upbeats and more. Their 2nd album is due to be released on SOM music late 2008.


State Of Mind also host the hugely popular ‘Next Level” 95BFM drum n bass show (Saturday 9-11pm NZ time, online at www.95bfm.com) every two weeks (with DJ Formatt handling the other weeks).



CHRIS.SU

Chris.SU [25] is one of the commanding producers and DJs of the Hungarian scene, among others he has put his country on the map of drum and bass. Since "Astro-Sine", released on Trace's label DSCI4 in 2002, his tunes have been in rotation from drum and bass' finest DJs, including Klute, Teebee, Ed Rush & Optical, Matrix, Digital, Spirit, Concord Dawn, Ill.Skillz, BSE, Pendulum, Bailey, Flight, D-Bridge, State of Mind and Andy C. He is also a member of a group called TACTILE consisting of five people: SKC, Longman, Bratwa, Safair and himself. He previously toured NZ in support of Concord Dawn's Chaos by Design tour.



JADE
(BUDAPEST, HUNGARY)

Jade aka Gábor Simon, heralds from Budapest Hungary, the home of many well known European producers. He began making music in 2000 along with Matt-U, which culminated in the release of their debut 12” ‘Got Lost’ in 2004 on BSE Recordings. The pair went on to put out a string of successful records on labels such as Moving Shadow, 1210 and Citrus. Now a fully fledged solo artist in his own right, Jade leads the pack when it comes to dance-floor tech focused drum and bass. A masterful audio engineer, his tunes always have a distinctive sound that is often imitated but never beaten. Keep an eye out in the future for more top releases, including a 12 for Gridlok’s Project 51, and an EP on Citrus. Moreover, his debut LP is due to hit the shelves late 2008.



MC TIKI
Tiki (of the Ngati Maniapoto tribe of Aotearoa New Zealand) embarked on his solo artist career in January 2007 after eleven years playing to the world primarily as the captivating frontman for successful band Salmonella Dub.

Representing Aotearoa New Zealand, Tiki has long-cemented the following of a diverse cross-section of peoples from all corners of the globe. Doubling as an audio engineer for some of the country’s finest acts, Tiki has a solid reputation for boosting shows, musical works and recordings worldwide with his unique gift for taking music into an innovative new realm Releasing his debut album "Past Present Future" in November 2007, Tiki is showcasing his talent as a musician, producer, composer, audio engineer and entrepreneur through his company Tikidub Productions.
