Hands down (my pants) trance wins - I find myself floating off to some other place when I listen to it and it has some surreal way of affecting me every time I listen to it... sadly commercial pop does not do this for me!

Dirty Tech i'm thinking, tracks are just plain and good. But then again, i like dirty heavy stuff. i'm on the fence. Gimme the prizepack though.

ever since way back in the day when my friends and i would head in to town for some serious dancing - they would all head for Kiss or Staircase and i'd chortle down to old Fu to dance the night away to the sounds of Presha
dnb has the ability to lift me up out of the lowest mood and this genre is the only i can say i am so passionate about and devoted to.

Drum and Bass for me.

Since Drum and Bass is heaps influenced by early Hip Hop and Hip Hop has been my favourite genre since I was about 7 it just makes natural sense that it's my favourite dance music ..

DUBSTEEEPPP its a unique form of music, i love the heavyness and the grimmyness of the beats. Even the old schoool dubs is a treat. Its a flow through the body right down to the floor where you get low. xX

DUBSTEP DUBSTEP DUBSTEP I cannot explain how much I love it, it's just so easy to get lost in it and the bass is just aaaamazing ... sooo good to hear it and feel it in your entire body. Just love it. Can't express it any more than that ha !

Down and dirty beats. Anything that gets the blood pumping, heart racing, body cranking and smile bursting on ya face. I love fidget, bassline, dnb breaks, dubstep, electro and durty durty house music when the time is right. Us kiwis hold our own on the dance scene i would say, you can't go past our amazing NZ dnb!!

My fav type of music would def have to be DUBSTEP!!!!!!! Where do I start - oh so many good things about dubstep. Not as plain and simple as drum n bass, grungy, dirty breakbeats is what gets me on the floor.....plus you're not dancing to the same rhythm all the time which does get extremely boring! (like trance, techno, house etc). Dirty electro does come close to dubstep on my chart though You can also dance however you like without looking like a weirdo I hope people agree with me on this one!

Looking forward to playing at this... looks like a few peeps are keen for some dubstep.

Fidget/wobble would be my favorites at the moment because of the difference's in bass lines (compared to say House which has the same beat). Also dubstep is fantastic. Good at the end of the nite wen ya 2 buggered 2 jump around =p.

DUBSTEP is the shit because it is really good hard, dark, and dirty with super phat wobbly bass. Wahm wahmmm wahm wah wahhhhhh wahm wahm wahm wahhhh wahhhh. The 2-step garage and grime rhythm is far out dubstep man, psychedelic spaced out shit man.

Happy Hardcore—There are many reasons

The Lyrics are so uplifting that you feel amazing inside.
The music makes you Sooooooooo Happy. Literally I am smiling on the inside also.
When you have all your friends at the gig its as simple as GOOD FRIENDS+ AMAZING HARDCORE= HAPPINESS AND SMILES
And it is so fast that you can have a mad crank to it all night long.. May wake up having to roll out of bed and take three days to recover but its worth it!!!!

fav music genre is Dubstep.. Basically because there are so many awesome sounds (bass wobbles etc) that fit in between the kick and snare.. I listen to dubstep every day and constantly hearing new artists (many who are under 20) making such sick tracks its crazy. Favourite Dubstep artist at the moment is: Whiskertwister !!!! (filthy)

Gotta be that HAPPY HARDCORE with a heavy base line, the feeling of the beat is uplifting,
one cannot help but move to this sound, when combined with happy hardcore there's no escaping
awesome times to be had by all. I wanna ticket just missed out

Dubstep (Mt eden Dubstep) . .

no matter where i seem to find my self (listening to Dubstep) , , its just to hard not to bust into groove gets embarrising in public but i just cant help it . .

Dubstep, I learnt to feel/enjoy the bass last October. Its also great to dance to after working for 12 hours ^_^.

A hard question to answer in my opinion for I love and appreciate all music for all of its different good qualities and aspects.
Except dubstep.

Having a hard choice between DNB and Hardhouse. (as per usual)
But I'd have to say my love and passion is Hardhouse. It is happiness in my eyes. No matter what mood I'm in it puts me in my happiest state of mind and nothing else matters to me at the time. .... AND IT FUCKING CRANKS!

i love how the beats chew you up an spit you out , not to mention its easy for the guys to dance too , every one at a dubstep gigs seems to be on all the same buzz the mcs work the crowd and you never ever leave disapointed, for every one who went to caspa nero and wheel at fu zen will understand , answer me this how many dance types have blown up as much an gained so much popularity

you can go Crazy to it!and it gives you a sense of freedom in terms of the sound you can dance to it how you would like to, move how you want to, and have no care of what people think because your having so much fun!!!!! straight up i love techno!!!!

Can't decide between Ambient, Industrial and New Wave because it is just clicks with me.

Drum and Bass and Dubstep... The wobble basslines with the licks of the higher notes gets me every time for dubstep. the feeling i get when i listen to the phat samples and different noises that spor, noisia, Upbeats, state of mind. i need the prize pack!

TRANCE - By far the best genre played in today's scene, the atmosphere it creates is amazing and more of it is needed
