I dont know that Mclaren derserved the punishment they got, they clearly had the better car in pretty much all conditions in the first half of the year. Ferrari came back to thier old fast self in the last half of the season, and Kimi hit his straps. But only some back luck in the last 2 races prevented Hamilton from winning the Championship imo. He was on top after the second round for the whole season, but it was a harsh lesson for him to learn in his first season. "It aint over till its over..."
