DVD X COPY PLATINUM:

Top of the DVD X Copy product line. The first movie backup software that can satisfy even the most critical fan
With DVD X Copy Platinum YOU are in TOTAL CONTROL of your movie backup. Most DVD movies are produced on dual layer DVDs – but recordable DVDs are only single-layer. In order to backup an entire movie, some elements must be compressed to make it fit. But this results in quality that isn’t good enough for the most demanding movie buff.

New TDF technology makes the perfect backup possible.

With 321 Studio’s breakthrough new TDF compression technology you can completely customize the compression of each scene. Now you can burn your 3 hour movie on a single disc with one click. Now you can burn that same movie with crystal clarity in every scene – and you decide what scenes to compress and what not to. In fact, DVD X Copy Platinum comes with a unique preview feature so you can see how various compression percentages will look before you burn!

I've got the '#1 DVD Ripper' rips to avi, MPEG1 and MPEG2

Pretty clear images too Very Happy

I'll check it out..

But I prefer to use DVD Decrypter, to rip the entire DVD regardless of region.. it obviously unencodes it too.

Then I reauthor all of the DVD's using DVD Shrink.

I personally find, cutting shit out that aint relevant (like half the bullshit intros, outros, credits, and 'extras' (in some cases)) can mean I get a PROPER UNCOMPRESSED 1:1 copy of the movie.

I'm not a fan of compressing, once it gets past 90% I can see the difference on my projector.

It's all good, I'll compress if I *have* to, otherwise.. reauthor is my thang.
