That happened in Wainuiomata apparantly....

the 2nd time someone has been hacked to death with an axe in that suburb in the last few years....

looks like it was caused by alcohol and a mentally unstable person...

People having been killing each other for years before p came along.

bet it was the crazy mothers fault...

Apparently the brother not thanking him for dinner was the final straw and they had been fueding for the last 4 months...he was mentally ill and had been drinking whiskey the night he did it, and he was quite calm about informing his mother that he had just killed his brother with an axe...if P was involved would you expect him to be so calm

The guy was obviously unstable and may suffer from shizophrenia or something similar. He is obviously a danger to society and needs to be locked up.

justahalf it was meant to be tongue in cheek but it clearly wasn't the behaviour of a normal man. Would love to know though whether the axe murderer had ever smoked p.

Drug use was never mentioned in any of the articles I've seen

but the guy that did it was single & unemployed where as his brother was married with 3 kids, was a farken loser to do that

Hi im 1 off the victims sons I miss him I was only 5 and my uncle always use to just listen to music in his room and drink whisky. He went down to my dads room and cut him 8 times on the face and neck I haven't had a male roll model 4 a couple years since my brother moved so I miss my dad

There was no drug use and drugs were not involed!! if you can read it said that my uncle and dad had been arguing for months before.
I dont like the comeents that you guys are leaving, they are very hurtful...
it happened in Wainuiomata New Zealand on the 7th of march i remember me and my older brother Andrew in the lounge when the police arrived, Andrew answered the door and i went and told mum the police were here, they sat down in the kitchen with my mum and told her, my mum rang her mum and dad and told them to come get me Andrew and Leslie and she couldnt even tell us cause it ripped her apart!!!
my nana, Grandad and aunty had to tell us and we just cryed and cried for ages, My nana Glen, my dads mum had nothing to do with the death of my dad my nana tried to save him but he was allready gone!

It was speculation and uninformed comment, it was almost certainly not meant as an accurate depiction of what happened.

I think if you read the comment you quoted again carefully you might see they werent taking a dig, just commenting on the fuckedupidness of the situation.

Even if people do take a dig, it is the internet and some people dont really care what they write so perhaps best not to read too much into it. I dont expect people actually thought their comments would be read by an affected party to the murder.
