FUCK YES. Turn on TV to see 77-7 and Ponting Golden Duck ahahahahahahahahahahahaha

Man.....Jacque Kallis is such a badman. The rest of this Proteas team look pretty soft atm but he resembles a rock as always. You safas are gonna be pretty rooted when he retires

[quote]
Yeah was a good days play to watch yesterday. Some of those Aussies got out with some awful shot selection (Hussey, Haddin etc) which shows these current players don't have the application to last out good bowling on a helpful pitch. They kept trying to hit their way out of trouble. It doesn't always work like that gentlemen!
[quote]
Kallis is a rock mate but by no means does SA rely on him. If anything Smith is our match winner as he has proven time and time again.

I like our new seam attack without Ntini and we are now short a opening partner for Smith and then all will be restored. Morkel with his 150km + bouncers is rattling a few people and I love it Very Happy best I have ever seen him bowl.

But more importantly Im about to go and glue myself to the TV to see Pakistan take a test win in Australia Very Happy This will be up there with the most enjoyable moments in cricket!

Woeful catching again. The keeper dropped Hussey 3 times yesterday. Might have only had to chase 50 odd.

They should have been able to get 176 though ...but then again like NZ they are masters of the batting collapse.
[quote]
Match fixed IMO
[quote]
Was only a matter of time before people would start with the match fixing claims.

I didn't see the match, but suspect it's more a case of Pakistan being gutless than a bunch of cheats.
[quote]
ya I find it hard to believe Akmal would be up fopr something like that. He's a pup.

Why did you yaya's feel the need to set England well over 400? I would have thought you wouldhave backed your attack more than that. Especially being one down in the series

edit: Not trying to stat a fight ok. Geniune question Razz
[quote]
Uhmmm why not? that is the dumbest questin ever. Close to 500 and more than 4.5 sessions to bowl them out ... seems like the perfect thing to do.

Music

And look at that... England amble to a draw, SA didn't leave themselves enough time to bowl them out Razz

Gotta laugh at that shit really. 2 insane draws saved by England and a total dustup in between.

Huge day for the Proteas! Very Happy
[quote]
Fucken insane once again. Morkel is on fire and really coming into his own in this series, with him and Steyn with the new ball I see bad times for most openers.

Englands luck is surely running out Laughing and the machine that is the SA test team is starting to work again ...

Music

Luck?

Yes, they were lucky that SA suck at strategy and batted wayyyy too long in the second innings so they didn't have enough time to bowl England out Razz

Huh?

They gave themselves enough time, but the bowlers didn't sack up and do their job.

Edit: Stop being so results oriented ya fkn nit :>>>>>

Always fucken happens to one of these Aussies. Isn't it a kiwi that dropped Hayden while he was in the worst form slump of his career and then went on to destoy attacks for a good part of 2-3seasons?

[quote]
Yeah but Im not to concerned about it. There is a few cogs in the wheel that needed to be fixed and I think going to India now will show how good we really are. Losing Steyn to injury put him out for two tests really and having Prince at the top was never a good idea. Not convinced about a full pace attack and Im sure Harris will be back for the tour of India in a couple of weeks ... I cant remember who the new spinner is but I believe they are trying to get his paper work in order so he can play for us.

Looking forward to this Indian series ... hope its on Sky!

Ya it was, dan at mid on in the 1st over off Mills. The game was widely regarded as Haydens very last chance. Instead he got to go to the world cup and plunder everyone. Worst drop EVER

The goddamn Pakis also dropped Watson on 99 when he didnt have a test ton and keeeped getting out in the 90's. So gross Sad

Yeah bro, Sky have changed their program buying habits to reflect ratings.

If it doesn't rate very well, there's not much chance Sky is gonna pick it up I'm afraid Sad

Yet they will happily show Aus vs. Pakis. I doubt that will pull more viewers than SA vs. India.

i dunno man, can you seriously say that pga replays, strongman shows, other other boring gheyball shit rates higher than SA vs India would, especially considering it would be mostly night time coverage anyway? FFS there 4 sports channels, when 3 of them have golf on at the same time its hard to believe that ratings are paramount in the programming process.
[quote]
also, you cant tell me that the u 19 world cup would not have an epic worldwide audience, that sky could have cashed in on if they had secured the rights. The sub continent has cameras here from Star Sports , so all the Paki's, Indians, Afghanis' and Banglis can watch their boys.
[quote]
Money is a massive issue here however.

For the test series between SA and India they would say pay $1Million however to get a couple of weekend PGA tournaments to show would be $50K ... shit like that I was told before when I wrote them letters.

Still SA vs. India FFS!

Music
[quote]
and same when Australia was in Africa. Any games between the top 4 should have coverage FFS. Im seriously close to getting rid of sky and looking into Foxtel or Star or something. I only really have it for cricket and kids shows, the movie channels suck after a week, and the internet is well good enough to source what you need in that regard nowadays, even all the educational channels have gone to mud, epic repeats and average content currentl. ITS A GOD DAMN CRIME AGAINST HUMANITY IT IS. Even comedy central is getting average. Crying or Very sad
[quote]
I'll ask my mate who works for Sky Sports what the deal is, but I'm pretty sure he said something about a new guy being in charge of buying these shows who's not keen at all on cricket if it's going to be watched by fuck all people.

SA - India would be fucking sick!! Very Happy

Actually mate if you watched the game and read the reports you will find thats not true. The pitch was not a mine field but it wasn't as flat as what they expected. All four guys that scored runs in this test worked very hard for it. And yeah Steyn was fucken brilliant but we already knew that ...

Too bad you couldnt hang on, but it would have been a bit of a fluke anyway. SA are not good enough to win a series in India really
