I'm actually real glad it was Tendulkar who ended up doing it.

Easily my favourite of the "great" batsmen of the last decade or so Smile

Stoked it was him ... this will firmly set him apart from Ponting and hopefully end all discussions about who the best batsman of our era is ...

Especially considering how close people have come with wild amounts of time left before they got out. Saeed Anwar got his 190 odd and was out in the 43rd over or something crazy like that. Even Lou V got that 175 (ish) vs the Zimbos and was out in the late 30s...

Very Happy

So glad it was against a good team like South Africa too...

I always find it a shame when someone makes an epic record against someone like Zimbabwe or Kenya or something Razz Kinda taints the achievement a bit heh.

Well done to the little master Smile

Yeah imagine if the first person to do it was Lou Vincent vs Zimbabwe.

+1, and from all accounts it was a chanceless innings. Hail to the king!!!!

also, South African attack = 1 dimensional, you guys play cricket like your rugby, relying on brute force straight up the guts mentality. Needs more variation!

In years gone by, I would have agreed with you bro, but I think there's enough variation in the line-up now (at least in tests) Smile
