Sounds like the Stanton Warriors, the Bassbin Twins and the Plumps having a threesome.

Fucking bang on.
12 out of 10.

yup

dropped this at summer set on saturday in wellington - it goes off

amazing how a beat and a siren can sound dope when it's produced by the plumps...not alot to this tune, but it works!

summer set = crazy gig...best production i have seen for ages...fuck knows why auckland can't come up with something like that!

a nice build reminisce of PD of heady days gone by imo. pity the flip is naff electro house sounding nonsense...

yeah it`s definately way better than system addict. Good placement tune to set up a smasher. Ain`t fuck all to it, played it sunday night to a packed club and people seemed to love it was a little put off at first but it`s growing on me

yup. closest cousin in the discography would prolly be "remember my name"

Sounds like similar results are being recorded...
I dropped it at Dundee (not your Dundee!) friday night and all the new rave kids went gurnotronic Smile
The repetition in it takes things a bit deeper temporarily, but it just pumps away, switching up the breakbeats and instigating gurn with those wobbly mid-range horn-sirens things.

I know what you mean thats theres not much to it... i think thats part of its success on the dancefloor. Its great to have the odd tune without the big hook, the melody or the vocal to bust up the set. Very old school bassbin twins...

Wonder what the album will bring then? Music

Bang on I reckon. First thing I thought of when listening to this was of it's similarity to Remember My Name.

Cool but I think I prefer the flip. Grungey sounding guitars won me over... Very Happy

Average... Embarassed

Actually went and listened to Remember My Name again last night and it pisses all over Take The Weight in terms of production and pure kick ass appeal.

I might play it out again soon I think... Very Happy
