And SRL didn't exactly dominate IRE, so I think NZ have a good chance of beating them.

McCullum has apparently broken a finger and might miss the SL match. So they could be without McCullum, Ryder and Taylor.

Must win for NZ tonight. With this team I do believe we can nail them and really this will be SL's first real test.

I also disagree. Murali, Jayasuriya, Malinga and my favourite modern day batsman: Sangakkara are all world class players. They'd be easy pics for a current World XI.

Dilshan carried SL's batting this whole tournament. Everytime he failed SL lost and that is pretty simple, non of the other guys are reliable. We can argue Sangakkara's batting style all day long, awesome in test but in any other form I just rate him as average! T20's he sucks 15 odd games and he would not have gone past 30 no more than 3 times if that. Jayasuriya had one good score in 10 games this series and cant remember the last time you could count on him. He def wins you games with his batting when it comes off. Malinga going at 8 an over in T20 nothing to write home about. Murali is a cheat so no need to talk about him.

Anyway they are all game winners on a good day, but Dilshan carried this team in every match and the one he didn't ... they lost.

It's funny how everyone goes on about T20 being a batsman's game but it's always the teams who bowl the best who win. Pakistan with the top 3 wicket takers (Gul, Ajmal and Afridi) being case and point.

Still hard to call them a one man team given the talent that many of them possess. They're unfortunately a bit like NZ, they just don't seem to perform consistently together.

I don't even rate Dilshan at all tbh, but he obviously did very well in this tourny. Agree that Sangakkara is a bit of a liability in T20.
