synchronisation

does anyone have their nokia and their pc successfully synchronised?

your contacts with outlook for example...

i have a bluetooth USB dongle but nokia pc suite is fucking with me and won't pick up the phone.

my pc will pick up the phone no worries, i can trasfer things from the gallery without any issue - just not when trying to use pc suite.


any help out there?

i had troubles with my sony - it needed outlook installed to even initiate the phone - computer push... but then i think it was an issue with the software drivers for the BT

i use the msi bundle

what brand of bt adaptor did you buy?

yeah i have it going sweet as. phone is synched and backed up on the pc

The only bluetooth dongle that really works with Nokias is the D-Link ones....

Something to do with supported profiles or something

im using a DSE dongle with MSI drivers and it works perfect

Which Nokia do you have?

I've always found the Nokia PC Suite to be a pain in the arse to use... especially with XP... It took a good couple of days to get the bloody DKU-5 cable properly... But when using it with other programs such as MobiMB, it NEVER had an issue!!
