Sydney, August/September

I'm going to Sydney around then, need to be there for the first weekend of September to see friends play their last Sydney gig but will be staying for a week one side or the other of that.
Does anyone know who's likely to be playing in Sydney around that time so I can decide which other weekend to stay there before I book my tickets.
Helpful hints on searching the net would be appreciated also.

Thanks people, I've actually looked at all 3 sites above already but they weren't much help. I went ahead & booked our tickets so we'll be there the last weekend of August through until & including the first weekend of September. Will go to see MANIX play on the the 2nd weekend (@ Icebox I think) & hopefully DJ Scot Project on the first.
Please add any other places of interest we should visit, your favourite clubs/club nights etc.

Tank nightclub is faboulous.
Manly hosts a hell of a lot of hot Aussie boys too.
Emporio shoes... 4 floors of shoes. Nuff said

thurs night - tank
fri night - sublime at home
sat night - gas (or together at home if another night of harder faster stuff is too much for ya!)
sunday - SOS at the greenwood in north sydney followed on by Yu or Icebox

when your here grab a copy of 3d world at like cd shops or clothing shops and that tells you nearly everything on for that week

what ive noticed here is that with some events they dont advertise till quite close to the date eg phil reynolds on the 5th june, the press release just came out 3 days ago thats 3 weeks out!

Hmmm, have to say I'm a little more interested in leather & whips than shoes. I have a wee foot fetish but unless Emporio has 4 floors of sneakers/trainers then Darlinghurst is more likely to attract my attention...sounds like the perfect place to grab gimpgirl a nice pressie.

Home has already been recommended to me & I'll be visiting Icebox to see Nat & Ali (MANIX) play...looks like Yu, gas, tank & SOS need to be added to my list too. Thank goodness I've got more than one weekend there.
3d world's not a bad wee magazine...Nat & Ali sent over a copy that had a write-up of them in it.
