It should be an interesting weekend of footy!
[quote]
I would love it if the Highlanders got through. But my pick is Crusaders vs Brumbies as well.

Looking forward to it!!
[quote]
yeah I agree guys.
[quote]
definitely my pick as well. I wouldn't write of the warratahs though, despite last weeks performance.
[quote]
Bolton Wanderers v Chicago Bulls ?!

;o)
[quote]
Bollocks to the Waratahs JAH, they shouldn't be where they are in the first place. They fluked it all the way through until last week when they got their beans.
[quote]
who gives a damn...................
[quote]
Well, so far:

Fitzy,

[quote]

"If you don't have anything nice to say don't say anything at all!"

(thanx mum)
[quote]
The form of the Crusaders has just about rendered the finals series void. Unless they get cocky...
[quote]
Well, we were right.
[quote]
go the brumbies
[quote]
so after a weekend of sorting the men out from the boys.....

As long as a kiwi team wins then I am happy.

The Waratahs showed themselves up for the fluke-artists they were all along. When it came time to really prove what they're made of, they did, ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha still laughing. Imposters!!

(I know its a bit ungracious of me, but remember I live in Sydney and have had to put up with smug aussies for the past couple of rugby seasons!!)
[quote]
Crusaders will win. It will be quite close, but they've proven they are definitely the best team even if they don't win the final. But they will.
[quote]
Canterbury will lose just watch... Their opponents are from Australia remember remember.
[quote]
still go the brumbies

i cant stand the chch rugby setup
bunch of theives worse than Auckland
[quote]
canterbury will do it for all of nz,
not only has aussie f**ked us over in staging all the world cup, they have given us a shitty draw....
[quote]
Yeah, and what's more, sitting here in my office in Sydney I just heard a vodaphone ad on the radio.

Guy rings up New Zealand to book a ticket to a world cup rugby game.

Kiwi accent voice says "we don't have any world cup rugby games here, you need to book to go to Australia for that"

Other voice goes "What, no world cup rugby games at all?"

Kiwi accent voice says "no, none at all".

Then the voice-over dude says there's cheap vodafone calls or some such rubbish and then he goes "now you can call to really rub it in".

Buncha cunts, scuze my french.

Go the Crusaders, and Go the All Blacks.

Lying thieving cheating bunch of cunts over here need to get hammered.

Scuze my french again.
[quote]
Diva - NZ have had ads very similar to that so we can't really criticise. The crusaders will win. I don't even think they've really hit top gear yet. I don't even think it will be that close, 15-20 point win.
[quote]
When its NZers taking the piss its funny. When its aussies saying it its coz they're smug bastards who need to be hammered.

Or didn't ya know that?

I guess I don't get to hear what they're saying over there in NZ though, I just have to listen to aussie shit all the time.
[quote]
lol diva, very true.
[quote]
er.. rugby
[quote]
In almost related news...

the warriors are the shit. they smashed newcastle, reigning premieres, and now there #2 or 3 on the table. i know they didn't have Andrew Johns, but we didn't have Stacey Jones.

Also, Origin will again be the best rugby, league or union, of the year. Big up Queensland! Smile

[quote]
still go the brumbies

chch is a bunch of one eyed rugby dickheads

the steal all there players from other regions.. and i mean steal our local rugby club manager got a txt msg from the cunturbury rugby unions about offers on players

FUCK off u thieves

go counties :-p
[quote]
What about the sheer idiocy of the way they sold tickets for the finals. Under the old policy you could only buy 20 tickets each (which I think is already too high), then they removed the limit cause a few people didn't like it. Apparently one person bought 169 tickets (from memory). Surely it doesn't take a genius to figure out that you will piss off heaps more fans by doing this and put more tickets in the hands of scalpers. If people want more than 20 tickets and can't get anyone else to queue with them, tough luck imho.
[quote]
i agree jah, this policy sucks, there is going to be a lot of on selling of tickets for a lot more $ than they're worth....

Rugby has become to greedy, & the grassroots is suffering.......
[quote]
Its not greed in this case though, its sheer stupidity as all the tickets would have sold anyway. I think they genuinely thought it would be better, duh.
[quote]
The Bledisloe tickets for the Sydney game went on sale yesterday and me and my family missed out this year. I couldn't be bothered lining up at 4 in the morning in the freezing cold like we did last year. Well actuallly my cousin did, not me (hee hee).

But they have a limit of 8 tickets, so two people have to go and line up. Stiff shit. Its fair for everyone and keeps the scalpers tickets down and lets joe public get some.

We were at a Hurricanes game in Sydney and they released another 100 tickets coz the game had "apparently" sold out, so we had to line up. A person in front of us was on the mobile phone organising to buy all 100!!!

We jostled and pushed our way past. My dainty little cousin even went for it and put an elbow in on the way past. Fucking scalpers!

Keep it fair for everybody I reckon.
[quote]
Forest - give it a rest for god's sake, I think you've made your point.....

Diva- I have a couple of mates in Sydney and they lost untold beer in bets last year, hopefully this year will be better...

Go hard Crusaders I'm sure you'll come out as victors, do think it will be a close one though....

[quote]
no time to rest my point is made about the way rugby is run down there by how they go about selling there tickets. the ppl who really want to see the rubgy for the rugby look like they have missed out

did someone by 1000 tickets i c ? yip cause someone in nz really has a 1000 freinds to take what a crock of shit counties has a limit of 20, Auckland has a limit of 50 tickets per person.

its just a big joke really.

go the brumbies
[quote]
There definitely do need to be limits to the amount of tickets people can buy. People can't control their own greed so they need the ticket office to control it for them.

Go the Crusaders!!!

Even Marshall. Go Marshall!! (I'll loathe you again another day, but for the moment, Go You Good Thing!!)

BigDaddy - where do your mates go and watch it? We want to go and watch it somewhere where there are heaps of other kiwis. Went to Parramatta Leagues Club one year and went to the actual game another year, and this year, dunno yet, probably Parramatta Leagues again.
[quote]
diva - not sure where they go.... they are more your AB followers than the super12 probably.... Do you go to parramatta to watch the AB's to?
[quote]
Yeah, that was what I meant. We went to watch the Bledisloe at Parramatta the year that we didn't go to the game here in Sydney.

At first we sat there meek and mild and really quiet, then when the AB's scored the whole room exploded. Full of bluddy kiwis mate!!

FULL RESPECT TO CANTERBURY,

A PERFECT SEASON.........

BIG UPS!
[quote]
wicked game. My heart jumped when Andrew Walker got a intersept at the end from a Justin Marshell pass. But it was all good when Calab Ralph scored twice to seal the game for the men on horses... oh god Razz
[quote]
How funny was the look on Caleb Ralph's face cruising along towards that last try?

Classic.
[quote]
It would have been a travesty if the brumbies won. The crusaders were so much the better team. I did pretty well at predicting the result, said 15-20 and ended up at 18 point win.
[quote]
Imagine if they had won because of Marshall's pass?

I am already mean enough about the poor bloke enough as it is. He passes like a netballer (no offence to netballers).

Signed,
Byron Kelleher's Mum.

ha ha

Who is going to be picked for AB captain?
