Fantastic work Sandwiches! Very enjoyable event executed 10x better than last year! On another note Tom Middleton at Sammies Sunday night was a real treat! Funk, soul, house, breaks, DnB and all genres inbetween... is there anything this man can't mix? Legend!

yeah, booking tickets for next year now! I rated Dunsta's set as being the highlight. There's nothing like dancing in a tent in the daylight with 100's of others jumping around like bellends. And the dancing troupes & tea ladies: awesome.

I concur with all the comments here - I had THE BEST time - Crazy Penis, Dave Seaman were my hilights (although for some reason there are very large blank spots in my memory). The organisation, the staff, the punters.. thanks Sammies, thanks wellington - its the Wellington attitude that made this event what it was IMO.

I had the best time!! Thanks to all the Wellington biggies and friendly faces!

Thank you to all who made that the event it was, i had such a great time, from the vibe, staff, being with my mates & family & most of all the music, was blown away by the sound and everyone behind the scenes you all deserve medals, from the set up, the actual day and the 2 days pack down, i hope you are all proud of what ya achieved.

my highlight was mc conrad. after all this time he is still so real. one bad motherfucker. im kicking myself for all the times ive passed up performances of theirs in the past. i say lets do this again this weekend!

For lack of a better Analogy – the whole event was like walking into a very well constructed house. The floor didn’t squeak and the doors open and closed as they should. IT felt solid and well crafted, like you could throw anything at it and it would of stood firm – every base was covered. And that’s a credit to all those involved in the planning and execution of the event.

Highlights for me.

Doing visuals in the supertop and looking over to see the main stage light up with fibre optics for shapeshifter.
Finally getting to see LTJ Bukem – he delivered.

All the artists looked very happy to be there and gave solid performances – Tom Middleton always brings a big smile to my face
The scoreboard looked killer!
The captain and all the helpers keeping the place looking good
No queues anywhere that I could see
Redbird's team of fluffers keeping people smiling from the minute the doors opened until the end


Hopefully I’ll be able to make it to another one in the future! Good luck guys.

I sincerely hope ya'll are appreciative of all the work the Sandwiches crew have put into this...it's no small task, that's for sure...quality of line up to rival festivals here in Melbourne where we have 4 million people to fill it up! Welly is lucky to have 4 hundred K and to get a gig like that is fucking special! Never in my life would I have ever dreamt something like that going down in Wellytown!
