PRESS RELEASE | 27th October 2009

Incline Events, the event management company responsible for the recent sell-out success Godskitchen Worldwide, are thrilled with the prospect of taking over Australasia’s biggest electronic music festival, SUMMADAYZE; moving the event outdoors in 2010 and recreating the original SUMMADAYZE summer festival vibe.

"We feel that the choice of venue, Telstra Clear Pacific Events Centre, provides both the indoor and outdoor capacity that is required for an event of this size and incorporates excellent flow between covered/open-air arenas with a real summertime festival feel. Its prime location provides excellent transport links from the Auckland CBD and around the greater Auckland region. With its close proximity to State Highway One and Auckland Airport, it also allows easy access for those travelling from around New Zealand and further afar. In addition to this we have arranged for return bus services departing downtown Auckland every hour from 1:30pm. Bus tickets for this service can be purchased from ticketdirect.co.nz."

SUMMADAYZE 2010 will be headlined by CARL COX, SHARAM (Deep Dish), EDDIE HALLIWELL & MARK KNIGHT; along with TOM NOVY, SEBASTIEN LEGER, THE SHAPESHIFTERS, DON DIABLO & MENNO DE JONG.

The main outdoor arena & stage will run from 2pm-10pm, featuring a number of international & local acts, festival performers & sideshow entertainment, amusement rides, extensive food & beverage stalls, chillout tents & areas and an impressive fireworks display at sunset.

The main indoor stage (Sir Woolf Fisher Arena) will run from 8pm-2am and will host a number of the major headline acts. An outstanding level of production can be expected including pyrotechnics, extensive A/V & lighting displays and performers.

In addition to the main arenas, the venue will feature another 3 stages where DJs/acts will cover off Indie/Nu-Rave, Techno, House and Trance/Hard.

SUMMADAYZE 2010 will be held on 8th January at the TelstraClear Pacific Events Centre, Auckland. Expect a no-holds-barred, summer festival extravaganza unlike anything Auckland has seen before!

SUMMADAYZE 2010: More international DJs Announced! Less than one month to go.

Incline Events has today announced the addition of NIC FANCIULLI (UK), TENISHIA (Malta) and EVIL NINE (UK) to the already impressive and substantial line-up for Summadayze 2010 in Auckland next month. Less than 4 weeks remain in which to secure tickets for this summer dance festival extravaganza, so get in quick to avoid disappointment.

Referred to as ‘house music’s hottest property’ by IDJ Magazine, grammy-nominated NIC FANCIULLI joins the Summadayze line-up hot on the heels of a Global Underground compilation album release and a series of packed-out gigs around the globe. Fanciulli holds residencies at some of the most prevalent superclubs in the world today and counts legendary artists such as James Zabiela and John Digweed amongst his biggest fans.

Hailing from Malta, we welcome TENISHIA. This progressive trance double-act have recently scooped the ‘Best Dance Production Award’ for the second year running in their home country and have been signed exclusively to World #1 DJ Armin van Buuren’s record label Armada. Look out for some very exciting remixes and collaborations from these Maltese high-fliers over the coming year.

Drawing inspiration from a multitude of genres including hip hop, techno, deep house and breakbeat, EVIL NINE are arguably the most innovative and original mash-up masterminds to emerge from the UK in quite some time. Having released two critically acclaimed albums and amassed a legion of loyal followers, we look forward to seeing what these two have in store for NZ audiences.

The latest additions join SUMMADAYZE festival headliners: CARL COX, SHARAM (Deep Dish), EDDIE HALLIWELL, MARK KNIGHT, SEBASTIEN LEGER, TOM NOVY, THE SHAPESHIFTERS, MENNO DE JONG & DON DIABLO.

1st Release tickets have SOLD OUT! 2nd Release tickets are now very limited, with 3rd Release tickets going on sale next week. SUMMADAYZE – 8 January 2010, Telstra Clear Pacific Events Centre, Auckland - 2pm-2am. Strictly an R18 event.

Tickets are available from Real Groovy, Route66 Newmarket, DMC High Street, www.ticketdirect.co.nz or by emailing info@incline-events.com
