I'm in Berlin next weekend, primarily for the Pearl Jam concert, however will have Friday and Sunday evenings free. Any suggestions of clubs to check out would be sweet. Not fussed on doing the big massive clubs eg Panorama tbh - just decent clubs with good music which might be a bit harder to find.

cheers!

well if you are in berlin on the the 15th of aug then local NZer Siomon Beeston will be playing Panorama bar, will be a great night Music

haha. That's the night of the Pearl Jam concert. Could maybe check it out after... although I hear/read it's not quite the easiest of places to get into at all?

yeah do it, this party will be going long after pearl jam has finished.
will be my first time back in Panorama this year and im looking forward to it, great line up and super exciting to see simon play there Mr. Green

the whole door thing, im no expert but i think its the same as all places just dont stand in the line and be a loud mouth, or come with a big crew of guys

DJ Pete in Berghain! OMG.... Basic Channel overlord.
Tom, Jens and Simon in Panorama. Wicked.

And Sasse doing the Sunday set! Perfect way to wrap it up.
Saw him playing at Panorama, well wicked. Will be amazing outside. Boom Pow!!

Not to mention Klock and Hoppner (although they play there all the time would still be great to see).

Skip the Pearl Jam show and focus on techno Wink

I was probably basing this off the fact that he has a weekly residency at Watergate Very Happy

Weekly?
[quote]
There is a kinda weekly night (tho not every week) on Wednesdays at Watergate called Meet My My and Friends. Nick Hoppner is part of My My, plays there quite a bit.

Thanks for the support dudes. The Night at Pano Bar was pretty wicked, packed as, 2 hour queue! Always gonna be packed in August with all the travelers in town. Set went pretty well, good to get that one under the belt!

Next weekend Watergate! Yay! Mr. Green
[quote]
Would be pretty cool if you could record your set for us Smile
[quote]
I was under the impression that My My and Friends was monthly.

Heard your set at Panarama was off the hook!! Hope Watergate's fun times!! Smile

Think you might be right Micarl, they seem to be there a lot, but it could easily be a monthly thing..

And Shaveer, I think WG records all the sets upstairs, and that's where I'm playing this weekend, so I'll try to get a copy to post up here Smile
