I just realised angels wings are completely superfluous.

- Would'nt provide enough lift for a human-being shaped thing
- Would'nt work in the upper atmosphere, where the air is thinner
- Completely irrelevant in space
- Clearly not enough muscle where wings connect on the back to provide hummingbird like oscillation that *might* enable flight
- Certainly not enough lifting power to let angels carry additional cargo (oxygen mask/bottle/passengers ascending to heaven etc)

They must just be there for effect.
