SubUrban @ Studio (340 K'd) - October 1st 2005

A new formation has begun in the all ages market. The promotions names behind huge parties such as Urban, Bonkers, Planet Hardcore & Spectrum have amalgamated to form EPL (Exert Productions Limited). The new name with a solid history in providing top quality events. SubUrban WILL be the biggest multi genred all ages event this year at the best purpose built middle sized event centre in Auckland (Studio Nightclub). The 1 million dollar renovated, Multi levelled dance arena with a big room feel will be unleashed upon the Urban & Spectrum crowds for the first time.

I'm unsure about Kiss/Bacio being used again in the future.. As the combination of hiphop with the techno/raver crew has been done in the past, but even though plenty of people turned up, the venue used (the Ministry) made it an unpleasant experience.

I'm pretty sure that EPL (aka Uptown Promotions & Spectrum) combined should be able to succesfully pull this off utilising the VAST size of Studio. Its truly a massive venue! And even if for some reason its unsuccessful, I'm pretty sure they've got a good relationship with Kiss/Bacio going - so I'd find it unlikely they'd be unable to move back there for whatever reason.

Hopefully it'll be succesful!

CANT WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!

Just one question:

CHEESEY OR HARD, CHEESEY OR HARD?!?!?!
[quote]
Im going to be at this one 100% Froggy
[quote]
So what about spectrum only events? or will they all be urban/spectrums from now on?
[quote]
Well, I'd say its safe to assume like most promoters they concentrate on one event at a time. EPL are doing Suburban which is a combination of Spectrum & Urban. After that, they may do Suburban 2, and Suburban 3. No body knows! It could go back to seperate events.. At the end of the day its a great opportunity to utilise the vast capacity of Studio for a massive gig!
[quote]
Either way, THIS WILL BE AWESOME!

we were told that Exert is someone in chch after we had registered the name. The one in chch must not be a registered company as we legally have that name for promotions now.

Sounds like a awesome night. Most definately going to be there although I think I'm going to keep my ass on the "Techno" side of the place to save myself being smothered by NBA basketball singlets. Wink

Not long now!

Spectrum and Urban t-shirts will be on sale at SubUrban this weekend. Stocks are highly limited and are only available in certain sizes/styles so be in quick.
[quote]
Spectrum ones come in M and S, Urban ones come in XXXL (with build in bling) and XXXXL (perfect for the head)

* Note: this is a joke, do not come with the thought in mind of scoring a massive iced out shirt with bling.
[quote]
Awww Sad

I needed some more bling too
[quote]
It wouldn't matter what size the Urban t-shirts are anyway because they'll be worn as do-rags
[quote]
Not long to go eh!

Going to be huge...
