Classic tune that Ive been thrashing for the past several years. Anyway, point is, this is the kind of stuff Ive developed a serious taste for of late. The deeper side of things. Been listening to a lot of progressive lately, moving away from the more uplifting and party styles, but dont know who else to turn to in this marketplace.

Who else makes stuff along the lines of Dan F?
[quote]
You could check out most of Neztic's stuff. Although its more funky than Dan F, it carries the same kinda deep groove. Flack Su is quite good too, some of his older stuff is amaising, deep and techy

If its even deeper stuff your into, Try:

Jarius Miller
Seth Vogt
Neo (his stuff on electrofly is quite good)
Tristan Yvel

I would call Meat Katie PLOD, Dan F is a different sound, more musical Razz

I miss breaks.
[quote]
Due for a comeback IMO, I'm getting away with playing more and more of it in Melbourne Cool
[quote]
Where do you play?
[quote]
I busted out a progressive breaks set at FFour the other weekend and am lining some more stuff up with them, which would be cool, I love that venue.

I'm also looking into a new Friday night at a bar down in South Yarra playing breaks (with maybe some other dudes playing dubstep and DnB). They used to have a hugely successful Friday playing dirty house and electro and apparently that's just died in the ass and they want to get something new happening. They have house on Saturdays which they think is too wanky and said they were keen to try dubstep so I think I'll run a whole broken evening past them to see what they think Razz
[quote]
Awesome.

I've always had a shit time playing a FFour, I've always been in the crap room though not the main one.
[quote]
Really? What haven't you liked? I've only played in the suite as well so far...
[quote]
To start with I could hear the other room louder than the monitor!

Maybe we needed more people in there to dampen the sound?
[quote]
Oh true, didn't have that issue when I played there. The main room was a bit sparse for people but the suite was relatively busy. Heard the sound from the main room on the occasional breakdown but it was never much of a problem.
