Sad I have a vestax pc002, having a few issues lately. When using the mids/low EQ's I often get static.

Any idea what causes this?

Have checked it is grounded and everything else sounds ok, just the EQs?

How olds your mixer, you may want to get new db kills, or you could try electrical contact cleaner...

Or take out a loan for a few grand and buy a mac daddy mixer.

buy that guys two channel dmj300

they are pretty damned good, crisp sound, precise kills, and those BPM counters help heaps

BINGO...it's quite likely to be dust build up.

Quite often a crossfader replacement will clean up other parts of the mixer that are starting to play up..
