What are they like?

possibly try the producer forum and you might need to be a little more specific

yeah i saw some stanton digital turntables the other day in auckland. anyone ever used these?

yep - I have a pair on Stantons.

A digital one and an analogue one.

Both straight arms.

The digital one you can adjust the speed of the record without affecting the pitch which is cool.
It also has digital out and you don't need to connect a ground cable to it.

heaps of tourque, nice sounding, solid -as.

A nice alternative to the Technics IMO.

1200s are great but if you like something a little different....

Oh - they also play 78s - ha ha....

The ones I've seen or used have been kinda crappy. Maybe they're better thesedays, but as far as Stanton goes I'd stick with the needles. Then again I don't much like Numark either, so maybe I'm just fussy.

The stanton digital turntables i saw had mp3 / cd player inputs. Anyone ever used this?

mine has - but I haven't used it.

I believe you run the signal from the MP3 player into the deck and use the pitch slider to contraol the speed of the MP3... or something like that

Can someone confirm that this works. I would usually only ever buy Technics, but this would be very tempting.
