Well as of today he is a definite crook. Failed to turn up for legal hearing despite being subpoenaed (had to google that spelling! heh). So regardles of guilt on the fraud matter, he's still in trouble!

also, these sort of charges don't get brought against people like him without some pretty solid evidence, especially in the US

I heard on the radio this morning that he tried to flee the US in a private jet, but got caught.

There was always something a little slimy about that dude. The incident with the English players wives sitting on his lap was really off.

West Indian cricket will hurt the most out of all this.

Just caught that coverage of the wife sitting last night, whose wife IS that blonde hottie...and she didnt look too unhappy about the situation either

She looked pretty embarrassed to my eyes...

It was his idea to do it for a photo and I think of the top of my head, it was Steve Harmison's wife.

Ah excuse me mate. But I recorded the replay of that game on dvd and examined it closely on frame by frame analysis to check the validity of said eyes.

You my friend, and all the rest of you chumps were deluded. Razz

And it was David Hussey. Wink

It was Matt Prior's wife...

I also thought the fact that he had unrestricted access to the player's changing rooms during that tournament was a bit off...

Listened to an interview with Tony Cozier on Radio Sport and he said that they'll actally lose very little. Stanford had been pumping money into Windies cricket for quite a while at local and club levels a while ago, but basically decided to pull that money because of corruption and ineptitude quite a while ago.

Cozier put the TOTAL monetary loss to Windies cricket at only $1m. So not as bad as other will make out.
