Spyware/Adware remover

Does anywhere know where to get a free one from the internet? I keep getting these popups saying I have something that can't be removed or something weird about adult content (not that there is any).

Where can I go to check my machine?

i like spybot better, but if you use both they tend to pickup on each others misses.

Yip, use both.

MAke sure you up date them.

Also of note:
If you use these progs and find you cannot remove CoolWebSearch (very common spyware that is more like a virus) get the CWShredder.exe file and use it.

Be aware that spybot is not as simple to use as adaware, and make sure you are downloading SPYBOT not the cleverly similarly named programs that install even more adware onto your machine.

I use spyhunter you can get it free probably off download.com you just have to physically delete them in regedit yourself in the free version (unless they're just cookies).

Download.com has nasty spyware built into the site.

I would reccomend you run adaware to make sure the one you are using is doing a good job
