Sponge on Ponsonby Rd

whos been up there? I love it! Thursdays will never be the same again! (neither will Fridays) but they just got a 4am licence, so my thursdays and fridays jut got a whole lot later... let me know what you think of it. theres chicane upstairs as well....

Never been, What do they play?
Im up at 5am on Fridays, so Thurs is probably a bit of a stretch but might give it a whirl on Fri night if you think its that good.

I love it! They play funky stuff at both bars, downstairs is lotsa fun, got Gavin S there thursday and friday. This is huge coming from me, used to be a die hard hard house and trance junkie, but got dragged along to Sponge and Chicane, and i have developed a taste for funky house. definitely worth a look!

Gavin(used to play supper club, and club 76) plays up there now days, don't know what nights though..

I've yet to make it to sponge yet, but will have to in the near future

You are quite right, the one and only Gavin. (i guess i'm kinda biased as he is my man hehe) Get up there i'm telling you! i love it up there.

prepared for queues. Word of advice - if sponge
is queued, go up to chicane (if its your sort of

Sponge was good last nite, plus i was able to get in with white trainers too which was all good
