speed in wellington

i've moved to a place is "non-serviceable" for telstraclear (thanks uptight, aerial cable-hating resident cunts) so am looking at adsl options...

anyone here on mount vic and using telecom or another isp? and if so, what kind of speed are you getting?

Have you checked whether you are within Orcon's LLU network?

I'm with Snap Naked DSL cos I object to paying for a phone line - Orcon does this also if you can get LLU.

I have no idea how fast it is - my porn is a bit slower that it used to be though...

I work for TCL and I'm annoywed we don't get TCL Services up at Maungaraki either Beacuse the cable Internet is so much better/faster than Telescum

PDQ - telstra adsl?

Most of Mount Vic's adsl comes from the Courtney Place adsl 2+ exchange (alcatel dslam). You should get speeds from 6 mb + if your on a fullspeed downstream connection.

PDQ is TCL Offnet - i.e. reselling Telecom
