Southern Cross Music has been set up purely to showcase the ever-expanding wealth of dance music producers that hail from under the Southern Cross. With a view to cover the full spectrum of house, breaks, techno, dub, hip hop, drum and bass, trance, psytrance and harder styles, it is purely for artists from the southern regions of the world.

Until now, producers from down under have never had this kind of platform from which to launch themselves. We'll be dedicating our time to showcasing these artists, making the most of today’s technological advances in distribution and promotion to ensure their music is heard all over the globe.

And how better to celebrate the launch than with a PARTY!!

Me and Seb were playing Hard Dance in the main room by 1.45, pay attention!

Whatever, there was a whole room of hard dance from the get go to the end and it was packed most of the evening. Enjoyed the classics set myself, I played most of those tunes at home before we left to go out myself! Come On, Riot Act etc great shit!

And it was fucken cool to see Riki caining it in the DFS room, loved it! Would have loved to stick around for Coda's set, nothing like a bit of techno.

gutted i missed it guys, sounds like a good night.

chris - sorry I didnt get to catch up with you before I left, decided being at the airport at 4am was gonna be too much of a mission if I did come along.. planning a trip back in august and will probably come down to chch to catch up with another friend, so will

was really was really scarse most of the night. all my mates and i couldn't get into the weird lineup and strange progression. yeah the hard dance room was busy but it only take twenty people to make that room look full. and to my surprise the main hard dance acts in the main room were average.

major bumma because we were expecting so much more. mabye next time go to a small club. atleast u will pack it out maybe.

sorry for average feeback its just it was a very below average night for all of us.

As for other comments - I had a good time but must admit I was pretty savagely wrecked for most of it so am having trouble recalling details

Trust me it not good to dis DJ's or Parties on Biggie as all you will get is abuse in return. I learnt that the hard way. I find it easier now to bite my lip & share my views only with close friends offline.
