Hi Everyone,

Lately i have noticed when ever I am having a spin at home the sound has been sounding quite tinny? Had a look today and its all connected up properly, unplugged each speaker and ran them seperatley and they sound like they're not blown. I've got a crappy gemini mixer (can't complain, it was free) Im beginning to think it may be the mixer connections causing it? Not to sure?

Any help appreciated

I'd say it's your amp...

Codex?

Swap each part around, one at a time, till you can isolate what it is.

Could be a lot of things from that description though...

Need more info, could be anything.

Am thinking i may have blown the horn tweeters in the speakers? Though it's only noticeable while playing Drum N Bass, House seems to sound alot less tinny, if tinny at all Confused

If its sounding tinny it's unlikely to be the tweeters - they handle the treble after all. Plus I would have thought it unlikely that you've blown both of them.
Try another pair of spaekers and if you have no luck there try another mixer/amp combo

Almost sounds like its out of phase from the description. Try reversing the wiring on one of the speakers and see what it sounds like.

Never fear, CT is here, and I have fixed your problem. After running multiple scenarios remotely via the internets to establish the root cause of the issues you have been having, I have isolated the problem down to this:

My my, a wee bit sensitive there.
I go out every night and bash genres, I wear a mask and corner them in allyways.

I've reported this to the police but they said they can't do anything until D&B grows a pair and lays charges personally Razz

All good in the lounge (where you might be well known) but this section of the forum relies on Q&A type stuff from newcomers and serious music types. Smile

Any luck fixing the problem Steed_01?

Music = SERIOUS BIDNESS Mad

Theres nothing wrong with poking a bit of fun if you are an active, contributing member to a forum. I could understand if all I ever did was come in here and take the piss, but I don't Wink

Anyway, enough of the thread hijack, if you would like to discuss it further, PM Smile

If you did, where would you take it, and how would you carry it? In a container (like tupperware) or in a bag? Hmmmmmm.
I wonder if I could put a genre in a container? I could start a genre zoo.
