Ages ago I came across recommendations in this forum - it was for software that pulls all the pesky ads & popups from websites.
I installed the apps & loved how well they worked.
Unfortunately I just had to get a new hard drive and can't for the life of me remember what the freeware was. I think kris_b recommended it.
Would really, really appreciate suggestions!
(being bombarded by ads is driving me nuts)
