nobody wears clogs in the netherlands. But on the topic of shoes, the netherlands probably has the best shoe shops in europe, and it also has crap loads of them. You can't turn a corner without there being a shoe shop

carbon neutral?

It is surprisingly cheap to fly carbon neutral - going to europe might be a bit more, but nonetheless very affordable

yeah, carbon neutral between AUS-NZ is only a couple of dollars (literally). I get a relocation allowance, but I'll be trying to fly the cheapest possible to make it stretch the most. It should even out in the end, because flying carbon neutral might be more expensive which will mean I will have less money to take stuff with me. Flying cheaper, and taking more stuff, means I'll throw out less and buy fewer replacements.
