Shutter Island... contains spoilers!!!!!

... well TBH, I dont really know that this counts as a "spoiler"... as I am wondering if everyone else found the 'twist' to be totally predictable...

Granted I didnt know all intricate details... but when I saw the movie's preview /ad on TV, I said to my flatmate... "I bet it turns out Leo's character isn't really a cop, and he is actually a patient."

Then I saw it last night... and sure enough.... Surely that was made too obvious...?

I was kinda hoping that it was gonna double twist and that he was still a cop and they were fucking with him... but alas.

Still pretty cool movie... but I'm sure I've seen this plot twist too many times before.

Yeah the twist was totally obvious, well i thought it would be that they would make him think he was crazy, but then he actually WAS crazy, so that bit got me, but you knew they were going to throw the patient thing in there regardless.

still, despite that it was a good movie.

Well having only seen the trailer, i thought it was going to be a horror movie about zombie crims.

Then I thought they were making him out to be crazy.

THEN I went ohhhhh, so he really is crazy... But had my eyes narrowed waiting for another twist.

The end was so sad

it was a fucking sad ending. depressing cos it has probably happened to people before :/
