Should THe DJ RECORD SWAP MEET be..

.. an All ages event? How many Under 18 would be interested in attending THE 1st Annual DJ Record Swap Meet, a chance to swap records with other DJ's and flick through the crates of your favourite DJ's to find that elusive gem. I need to see numbers, so place your thoughts, name and contact email on this thread.

If I get enough support from the Under 18 Auckland masses, expect to be involved.

How does it work?

Like, do you take along the stuff that you just want to swap? Or you take along your whole collection... or what?

G'day Oi,

Basically patron's will arrive with tunes they don't spin that often and are wanting to swap/buy/sell/ or trade with other music enthusiasts for.

The event is covering all genres and you don't have to be a big time DJ to attend, what is required is a love of music and a passion to make new friends whom are interested in music too.

I need to see as many under 18 people as possible showing their support to want to attend because one of the sponsors is requiring the event to be held in a bar which won't permit people under 18.

If there is enough support I'll change venues.

Might be a good idea - but you will need to limit it in some way....

i dont have any records...but id love to come and try find a few ive been looking for and meet people and im under 18

I'm sorry all you budding DJ's whom are under 18- I really tried to make this an all ages event, but the forces this time were against us.
