NZ needs a good people manager, I think. Although our skills are lacking a bit in tests, I don't think we're going to improve greatly unless we can have someone who can guide the team with the appropriate level of firmness, but also a diverse enough attitude to 'manage' players like Vetorri and McCullum, and mentor the many younger guys we'll have coming through.
I don't know anything about Mickey Arthur, but if his people skills aren't up to it (ala Bracewell) I would say a resounding NO.
