Hey there guys,
I was watching P_Money's segment on M2 last night and was watching clips. And i thought to myself about the amount of hoes that are in hiphop/rap music videos.
Then i was thinking about how the majority of hiphop music videos pertain to endorse "sexual identity"..... and then i thought, i have never heard of any gay rappers ever and i wonder if there are any????
Wouldn't it be funny(sorry i should use another word instead of funny) or even weird if you saw a hip hop music artist comeout???

Just the general style of these music vid clips that have the Hoes,Money and Alcohol in them would make it hard for a homosexual rapper to come out...

Hey i think my point is in here somewhere, its just a bit late and i can't word it properly as its been ages since i posted in here.

i remember a while ago some rapper in
america was 'outed'.
there was a big thing after that about how many
other's were gay.

i'm sure it'd be more accepted that a female
emcee is gay than a gay male emcee.

not that one should be more acceptable than
the other.

Grandmaster Flash was the first to come out of
the closet. As Gay as christmas he was.

Hiphop's not really pro-gay tho is it. Gay people
listen to Liberace, Elton John, George Michael
and Barbara Streisand.
And house music of course.
[quote]
True FRISK, i didn't know he was gay, why didn't i click for some reason???

Nope agreed on the Hiphop not being pro-gay thing... What if it were, what if someone homosexual rappers/artists came out and revolutionised the whole hiphop culture and scene.
***************************************************

NAH- hehehe it just wouldn't work.....

I agree that hip-hop and the gay scene don't exactly go hand in hand.

But I think the comment about what homosexual people listen to is a little bit of a generalisation isn't it?? The gay people I know have music tastes as diverse as the general population. I do think a distinction should be drawn between people who are gay, and the "gay scene" as most people perceive it - pride parades, cross dressing, ABBA, etc.

Peace,

there'd be some classic lyrics though!

"i f***ked you in the a** mother f***ker!"

It has been proven time and time again. All gay
people listen to Barbara Streisand. If you know
any that say otherwise, they are lying. Or they've
just cottoned on to house music.
That is all.

I'll take your word for it then...

LOL @ SupaMaorifulla

Yeah, i'm pretty sure that there could be heaps of underlying homo erotic subtexts in rap/hiphop music.

The skanky hoes in some of these video clips could even be men - they are so PURTY hehe.

Frisk...I think youve been watching a little too much Will+Grace bruva.

Ezy E touched on alot of gay situations in his lyrics "i pulled her panties down and the bitch had a dick. I said Damn dropped the gun from my hand - what i thought was a bitch was nothing but a man"
yeah i love that song!
i reckon Vanilla Ice is a Batty Boye
[quote]
2pac claimed Dr.Dre was gay lol
[quote]
Yeah 2pac has said a lot of nasty stuff in his songs back in the days... Especially about Puff Daddy being gay wit Notorious BIG...

i think that P_diddle is Smile

hehehe, isn't he getting sued for his last album cause he ripped off someone and stole their lyrics or music HAHA

He stole lyrics????? maybe its just music/beat i say this again to reinforce that the lyrical capabilities of p_diddle are next to nothing.
[quote]
Frisk people like you who make generalisations like that really need open their minds.
Just cos someone would rather be with someone of their own sex doesn't mean their brain doesn't work.
one of my best mates is gay and he listens to heaps o' Hip Hop. really Phat stuff to! so there!
[quote]
You need to quit being so frickin PC! My first
statement was that hiphop's not very pro-gay,
which is true whether you like it or not. What
followed was a joke, lame maybe, but obviously
a joke none the less. if you can't read it as one
you're gonna get worked up an awful lot on
internet forums.

Chill out.

And i never said homos brains don't work.
[quote]
Yea but they would have to have something wrong with them to listen to Barbra Streisand. And what does sexual orientation have to do with anything?
[quote]
It has to do with this thread topic. Read it again.

Whatever! [Malika looks pissed off.]

BUMP

Abba, Elton John and George Michael are the shit... there i said it.. Call me gay Smile Dunno about Barbara Streisand though, she's not my cup of tea.

Andre from Outkast tends to play about abit with cross dressin and the like but I dont think he's gay. But I think its cool that he "pushes the envelope" so to speak. It also says alot about Big Boi bein his mate and not caring what Dre wears. In conclusion,
outkast are cool.
[quote]
Yep outkast are cool......

Whats people's take on Eminem's gay bashing in his lyrics? then that whole Elton John thingee b4?
[quote]
eminems gay bashing lyrics are absolutley nothing on the very anti-gay lyrics most Jamaicn artists will drop, fuck, they do whole songs dissing gays.
i picked up a tune recently that opens with the line 'all homo must die slomo'.
