My bank has packed a sav last month over the way I usually send money home with a cheque (they “lost†the last one between NZ and UK) so I wanted to know what service you might use and what it charges since I have to wire it now instead of getting mum to bank one each month (this was no fees and always a good rate).
Who do you use? I have found a couple that don’t charge for transactions over £1000 or £1500 but I’d like to know what you might recommend. Some of their rates though were pretty average (it's 2.77 bank spot-rate currently and they're still offering 2.69!).
