[quote]
I made it to 7th form, then did four years at Akl Uni.
[quote]
Me... infact.. I went on to Uni after that..
[quote]
i got half way thru 6th form and got bored and buggered off to tech. I did ok at school tho
[quote]
skool shmool
look at what i am doing now..........teeheehee silly teachers.
[quote]
i did made to 7th still at Mit Doing a shipping in freight Dip. fucked if i know how i got into it but i will get it lol
[quote]
7th form then polytech -
[quote]
went to school to flirt with boys Smile

stayed through to 7th form, but shocking results.
barely passed....

hasn\'t stopped me getting what i want now though...
wouldn\'t care if my kids didn\'t do well, as long as they knew what they wanted, and how to get it....
[quote]
yeah i was at school for 7th form but didnt do any subjects at the 7th form leval just did tech courses and stuff and buggered around, and now am at aut
[quote]
i lasted half of seven form, got bored.
[quote]
i did till the end of 6th, not point in repeating unless you gonna go to uni.. Smile didnt do too bad, math and graphics were the better of them Smile
[quote]
B Bursary by a few marks, not a single bit of study, maybe I should have, then I could be like Bennor :o)

At Uni now
[quote]
i did 6th form, hated school got a job never looked back...
[quote]
My principal hated me and my friends in 7th form cause we attended when we felt like, turned up wasted half the time, generally acted like louts, and then caned all the lamer geeks when it came to exams and shit.. hahaha.

Stuff like that really gets the establishment worked up, they don\'t like living proof that drugs are not bad being flouted in the faces of the impressionable... mkay..
[quote]
A student hereSmile
I had to work at it though. I did about a month of 7th form then I needed a change so I flagged school and went to tech.
[quote]
... even worse was when I was in 6th for I was pretty much the same.. however, I skipped some 6th form subjects and did a couple Bursary subjects and still caned the lamer geeks that were a year ahead of me... the shameful side was I still had to wear uniform whilst the rest were in mufti..
[quote]
A Bursary, school dux, sportsperson of the year, 3 scholarships, Master\'s degree etc.
[quote]
completed school to end of 7th form and then uni for 4 years.

Uni was fully wicked as i also had time to deejay and put on events. Loads of uni exams are classic - you can bull shit your way though them by knowing the basics and spinning crap.

Very Happy

[quote]
i got meningitis in 6th form, so with internal assessment i was pretty screwed for grades after being away sick for quite a while, and the school i was at did this weird thing where some subjects that were 2 in 6th form became 1 in 7th so i did\'nt have enough subjects to do, parents did\'nt think it was worth while to waste a year on history and home ec either....haha
[quote]
kat: do you reckon i could get an autograph?

i couldn\'t even make it past 6th form...
[quote]
Also - dont get a student loan if you can help it. Its pretty easy to blow cash when you are at uni. Mine went on skateboards, drink and parties / clubbing.

Was probably the best time of my life. But ive got a nice lump sum to pay off now though.
[quote]
Sure thing Bennor. I get that all the time.
[quote]
Good Advice Mike..! I know quite a few people that are only paying off their interest too... sucky!

Ahhh.. Uni days.. good memories... Norml Clubrooms for a start, The drinking clubs day in the Quad, Crackem with Bomber, Allpress Coffee, Protest marches, Shadows and Pub crawls.. Those pubcrawls... sigh...
[quote]
Failed sixth due to can\'t be assed syndrome, did seventh anyway now at tech.
[quote]
A Bursary... NZEST Scholarship....
Now in year 6 of uni....
Getting pretty sick of studying but work as welll to keep me entertained...
[quote]
failed 6th, now am waiting for bursary results...
[quote]
man those protests got a bit psyco at times - i got so pissed with one of them pushing one dude off the stairs when we were trying to get into the registry.

We ended up taking it over and baracading our selves in hahaha

Very Happy

One poor lady cop broke her leg though. That wasnt fun...
[quote]
hahaha... yeah, I was there then too! When they broke the window to occupy the registry. Hahaha.. classic.
[quote]
failed 6th but passed 7th..thats wot sleeping with a teachers gets ya
[quote]
I was an A student till 5th form.. but I failed 6th
miserably cause I\'ve always refused to do any
actual work. I left after that.
[quote]
yeah i aced 5th form, then sorta forgot to work in 6th *ahh well an 8 for english isn\'t THAT bad...cough*
[quote]
You guys are giving me flashbacks from my University days ...such good times Smile
[quote]
Failed about 2/3 of the exams I\'ve ever sat. Quite sad, really.
[quote]
Went through school, then 3 years at Uni. School sucked as it was single sex, but Uni was 3 wicked years! Somewhere in-between the drinking and cavorting (I hadn\'t discovered pills then) I found time to study, but I still don\'t know how.
[quote]
My best was... 1st in Religious studies in 3rd form... kicked out of the class and asked not to return by 6th form
[quote]
i left at the beginning of 5th. school wasn\'t for me!!
[quote]
Got an A Bursary in 6th form and I\'m about to start my 4th year of Uni at Auckland.
[quote]
School grades dont mean shite...
Best total qual I got was School Cert...even tho I
stayed till 7th form.....
I got HSC.....just...one more day of wagging
classes.....wouldnt have even go tthat....

didnt make a spot of difference....I am in a role
that people 5-6 years older than me are
doing.....and I am doing damn well......

[quote]
Whoa PFunk! You da man!
[quote]
7th form, and even then I dont think I was ready for the real world. Messed around in a big way at school, so only just passed. It doesnt matter anymore, but I wish I could do things differently now.
[quote]
Got B Bursary and went to uni for a year - only to get the loan to buy the car of course. Dropped out but still doing the odd paper....
[quote]
Damien, school grades are very important. The A grades I pulled throughout school have given me many wonderful opportunities. I am now a very successful business woman. I invented Post-its.
[quote]
Hahaha... From now on we will call you Michelle then Kat!
[quote]
nah. just call her dizzy. she cleans a mean house though.
[quote]
kat.....u r funny as!!! hahahhahhaa
[quote]
sjb, don\'t make me hurt you now.
[quote]
promises, promises. what are you guys up to this weekend?
[quote]
Stayed the whole way through 7th form but gave it a half assed effort because I knew I had a job beginning the next year.. so I failed now im working full time and goin to AUT at night time.
[quote]
Got 7th form and scholarship in english. 3 year degree @ Aut and am now back doing studenty stuff with a student website. it\'s a life i don\'t want to leave behind!!
[quote]
I told you, you\'re coming around to clean my house!
[quote]
A Bursary
4 year Uni degree
Now working towards a masters

A real glutton for punishment.

Unless you are wanting to do post graduate research grades really do not matter, they are more of a personal measure. Employers have never asked to see my grades, only universities when aplying for further study.(Probably due to my spelling :/
[quote]
i got an a bursary in 6th form then did half a computer science degree but thought it was crap so i'm gonna bum now
[quote]
Got a B Bursary at 7th form and have been a lazy worker ever since basically - after school mum forced me to go to Auckland Uni one year (failed all the papers as never went) and then started a Bachlor of Social Work at Unitech and passed everything the firts year but it was too hectic doing that and working full time
[quote]
That sounds VERY familia, Dom. What school did you go to? Where did you do computer science?
[quote]
avondale then auck
[quote]
I did all the way to 7th form, even thought i could have got provisional entrance in uni when I was 15, if i had only put in the effort. Couldn't be fucked doing anything got a C bursary, was fucked most of the exams.

Now i'm at uni and i'm gonna be a doctor
[quote]
That's SCARY.
[quote]
did till 7th form - A bursary, (only cause I went to a school which put pressure on you to study though) then did 5 years at varsity. Now I have a big student loan Sad But excellent years at varsity
[quote]
I did 4th form in 3rd form, 5th form certificate in 4th form, 6th form certificate in 5th form and left school after 6th form - straight to Uni

Still there, buming around as don't know if I want to continue as I find advertising toooo boring, really want to become a Personal Trainer of some sort as love the gym and am really interested in how the body works, motivation etc.

** SIGH **
[quote]

[quote]

I love having money!
[quote]
Don't ya miss the student lifestyle at all club boi?
[quote]
Well, I do miss being able to sleep in every single morning (one semester my earliest lecture was 3pm!) and the parties every night of the week, but that had to end one day! There is only so much fun you can have with no money! Now with the help of money I compress 7 nights of fun into 2 nights of fun!
[quote]

[quote]

[quote]
Hey Jass, Im good. Im 24 Smile

Whats news in good 'ol Auckland? I am thinking of coming up on Tuesday, but will have to leave on Friday coz Im going to Sydney on Sat morning - so no weekend on Auckland Sad
[quote]
7th form - 4 years of uni.

I'm not 100% sure, but I thought with loans now you couldn't really get out lump sums especially if you get a living away from home allowance. Can only pay for fees and books?

When I was at uni it was basically a free for all. You could get your entire year loan out at once. They changed that pretty quickly!

G
