Youth Week's “RE: DEFINE†is a national campaign, and in 2005 it highlighted some of these stereotypes and challenged the public to think again. For 2006 the campaign aims to start changing stereotypes. The RE: DEFINE campaign aims to raise general awareness around Aotearoa New Zealand and act as a specific challenge to media, policy-makers and educators, whose influence over young people is often profound.
“RE:VERB†is a Youth Week event to be held at Waitangi Parks' new skatepark, centered around local dance music Djs providing some afternoon entertainment for the youth, with the help of local organisations to promote the safety and well being of the youth of today.
